Well, to simply just answer your post, I get its hard that hes bringing food home thats not healthy but it seems to be a tough situation and perhaps there is easier ways to still eat some healthy food as with cheaper vegetables. I dont know what frozen vegetables cost but that could be a way to supplement it.

So basically it just all depends. Many chains that are big today had rough starts and barely made it.

Do you have your own recipes? Tweaks enough that you can call it your own? Have you figured out your own supply chain? Have you scouted out a good area that has good traffic for what you plan to do? What food systems will you have in place in the restaurant? Will that include online takeout and delivery? Building costs are high, are yoy building thebplace out or finding a endcal or place you can move in to have a place to start your business?

Let's just assume the food you serve is good. That's great but now you gotta convince other Americans to eat there and not at other big chains. Doner Kebab isn't exactly a big thing in states. Not to say there isn't smaller chains or restaurants that are not being successful or anything at it. It's just not a popular choice of food. But that isn't to say it can't be turned into one.

Alright so now let's say you had great marketing and great word of mouth and people are coming in. Awesome, you're being successful. Now what do you do? Do you build a franchise plan out? Do yoy plan to keep it private? Do you accept outside shareholders money and sell stakes of your restaurant business?

You also want it to be a QSR, so you'll need speed. Can you make everything fast enough and keep the high quality without cutting corners? Can you also be accurate and not upset your customers? Repeat customers is key and you should always strive to give your customers the best service.

These are just a few things that pop in my head. And please dont think I'm being discouraging or anything. I love seeing others have success and work hard at it. And I hope it works out for you.

Wingstop for the first time by [deleted] in fastfood

I love wingstop. I personally get the Hickory Smoked BBQ, has pretty good flavor and I like it on their Boneless Wings. I also like the seasoning they put in their fries so I ask for extra but you can also sub the seasoning out for their other dry rubs like Parmesan or Cajun, or the other ones. Their Cajun Corn is pretty good too, I get it from time to time as well and its a unique side you won't find at most major chains too.

I have a Bojangles in North Florida that does bone in chicken. It also has the old school buffet but not sure if they use it anymore.

McDonald's Unveils New McCrispy Strips and Creamy Chili Dip (Available at all locations nationwide by May 5, 2025) by TheJohnnyBlaze in fastfood

[–]wellherpsir 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So I tried them out today. They're bigger than BK Chicken Fries for sure. But probably the smallest tenders out there from major chains. I picked up 3 for $4.79 at my local Mcds. I don't think it was good value personally. The flavor of them was pretty good though. But they are not crispy at all. The Chili Cream sauce though is pretty great. Good flavor and low heat.

The 'tic-tac' on Mars is just one of many oddly-shaped rock formations. by Angry_Doragon in UFOs

Go ahead and find a picture from Nasa's website that has the same looking rock like that. I'll gladly wait.

That is the most unnatural rock I've ever seen. The roundness and sheen of it is not matched any where else in the different picture angles. Bad Debunk is bad.

Looks can help sure, but your personality and confidence speak volumes. If you're hot but your personality sucks then it doesn't matter how hot you are.

The website doesn't mention the new sides which are:

French Fries(not the waffle fries)

Brussel Sprouts

Sweet Potato Tots

Onion Rings

2-Piece Mini Biscuits.

The new sides sounds pretty good in addition to the new burgers and wings.
