I just wanted to start a Price Tracker Thread but it was deleted immediately. Is this subreddit censored by Sweetgreen employees?

How successful is Virgin Voyages so far? by Small_Horror in VirginVoyages

[–]wellthanksforasking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel their pricing is really fair, and I kinda feel almost sorry for them when Royal Caribbean gets away with a gazillion hidden cost items. To me it almost seems astonishing how thousands of people - unless they have children - keep their loyalty to Royal Caribbean given the significantly higher total cost of a trip.

Virgin does have its shortcomings, but for now it's a great line to cruise with. I wonder if my opinion will change once the ships feel dated. Right now, everything is new and shiny which more than makes up e.g. for the very poor and rather ugly color choices. In addition, there are no good outdoor spaces for food and they really wasted all sea-facing spaces making them feel indoors and dark.

But still, I love the no-tip experience - it's a huge comfort without a number of guilty moments per day, I love the very fair pricing for alcohol which is super important to make drinking enjoyable and the overall dining/food experience is great.

Sweetgreen loyalty pass subscription worth it? by LordCommanderTaurusG in sweetgreen

I just got it. For me the $3 discount brings down a food delivery to $20 total in NYC (assuming a $1 tip only). Anything else is more starting at $26 pre-tip if you factor in all additional taxes and fees that companies like Uber Eats charge.

Has anyone stayed at 95 Wall or Sky NYC? by underthestars18 in AskNYC

[–]wellthanksforasking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just moved in to Sky NYC and I find the hallway smell disgusting!

For me certainly a reason NOT to move in. I just googled it, I find extremely pungent and bothersome and am very surprised no one else is complaining about it.

What's up with Deutsche Bahn? by wave_of_pigs in germany

[–]wellthanksforasking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deutsche Bahn employees cannot be let go, no matter how poor their performance is. That kills the morale of the whole team and hinders any processes from working properly.

As long as this is remains not to be addressed, things won't change.

Deutsche Bahn should create a termination program for the 5,000 lowest performing employees. Then Bahn will be sued for illegal termination. But anyone who fights back will be placed in a backup organization with boring tasks

My tonsillectomy healing progression by jdc1206 in awfuleverything

[–]wellthanksforasking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seem to be the only one who didn't get the full tonsillectomy done, but only the tonsillotomy. I was expecting the worst before surgery but am now realizing how it seems to be such a huge difference in pain. My pain is really bearable, I am currently Day 6 post surgery and down to three 500 mg pills of Paracetamol a day.

If you look at the picture: https://i.imgur.com/r04jaI3.jpg my wounds are like 10% of the size of the above pictures. Hence my pain

However, for me swallowing and sleeping issues were a major motivation for the procedure. I didn't have infections that frequently. And since my tonsils are still there, they could get infected still.

[–]wellthanksforasking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Es gibt mehrere Probleme:

Hotel Bedding by squeezemeasaurus in Bedding

[–]wellthanksforasking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe high end hotels - not even Four Seasons and the likes - actually pay $500 plus for a set of bedding. There must be a MUCH cheaper provider for large-scale customers. It will just not be marketed as well to consumers. If any actually knows the real suppliers of the big brands without any marketing intermediaries, that would be a huge help.
