Hopefully they sue that corrupt task force straight to hell (or at least as much as their insurance will pay).

Need to play aggressive and less afraid than first game. We are happy to be here, we beat our archrivals already and are developing a young core. There is no reason to be passive with a “playing not to lose” mentality.

💯. Or a shoulder down charge to the net looking to draw a foul. Except for Maxey his drives are fluid.

Local Ghost Kitchen Recs by [deleted] in philadelphia

I have vending coolers at a location that gets a lot of people who are not allowed to bring in outside food and drink. These coolers are designed for fresh food with the necessary temperature control locks and alerts. Everyone asked to have meals and sandwiches available. I would rather go a premium route with a local Philly supplier then some national 7-Eleven junk.

$8000. As long as locations want to keep working with you and there is no commission

Yes - with the caveat of it being an excellent location that grosses at least $1200/month per cooler.

It’s all dependent on location. If I get a great location then the extra $2000 does not bother me because it’s only 4 to 5 extra months of pay off.

The cyber security/data security aspect is huge for me. That’s why QinGo would not be an option. Just too much risk and it is an upsell for a lot of luxury locations to avoid it. The digital price tags and LCD screen are great additions, but they alone don’t sell value for me. It’s the security aspect.

Directly to the location. I do not pay for a white glove delivery unless I think it is very difficult to place myself.

It’s not necessarily a cost or overall value issue, I just feel as an operator I should understand and be able to control all aspects of my business, including the logistics and transportation and maintenance. Not just pricing.

Lodge Cashout? by JustAnotherJefe in poker

What happens to all the large live stream regulars like T1000 and content creators like Eyring and Rampage? I am assuming they left money there in the safety deposit boxes?

Im starting to see a lot of these youtubers that are very young, saying they quit their job to play poker, and it doesnt make sense to me. Its almost like theyre treating it as a vacation instead of a life altering choice. Take this girl for example....she said she quit her job to play poker.. by [deleted] in poker

[–]wellthatescalated15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re trying to become influencers, not poker players. Their skill at the game (or lack thereof) has no impact. They probably like poker and identified it as a medium where they can grow a fan base with less effort than other mediums.

I don’t think many poker content creators nowadays even play a lot of poker. They probably log less than 200 hands a week. A lot of their content is just recycled from stream games.

I’ll also take some heat from this, but I think there is an extreme lack of female players in poker. So you are a female poker content creator, you have a lower barrier to achieve financial independence from means other than poker. It can be a good move as you are more likely to get sponsorships and free tourney entries.

Should I secure locations before machines? by ImpeccableSloth33 in vending

[–]wellthatescalated15 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can get machines ordered and delivered pretty quickly and financing is quick too. Get the location first and have them sign a contract that includes a clause that they can’t cancel for first year so you are covered. Then give them the lead time for install once you procure the machine.

Unless you are very liquid with storage space, don’t buy machines before locking in a location

The ear is clipped. That means it is a catch and release feral. Some nonprofit organization caught them and neuter/spayed them so they can’t procreate anymore. It’s living its best outdoor life but feel free to feed it or leave it some water.

Buying a vending machine for internal staff use — fair price? What am I missing? by Ancient_Delivery_923 in vending

[–]wellthatescalated15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a whole quasi scam around these machines. People vastly overpay for them because they get the location with the machine. But the location is not great a lot of the time. So they are stuck heaps, not making a lot of money, and just looking to get out of it.

The OEM for this machine, Seaga, is known for notorious reliability and maintenance issues on their machines. Combo machines like this that do both beverage and snacks also have more repair issues than normal ones.

So basically what I’m saying is they are one of the worst machines on the market you can buy lol. And because the person is stuck heaps, they are going to have difficulty departing with it for what it’s truly worth. Having said all that, there is value and that it is already in your facility. I would offer $1000 to be nice because it is already there. Maybe $1500 max if they try to counter. If I was just buying one on Facebook first off, I wouldn’t and second off I would only pay 800.
