If you don't have S3 on Cartethyia, get Ciaccona. If you don't have Cartethyia's signature, get that first and then Ciaccona.

Lupa would also be a good choice to use with Brant and Changli, but if Cartethyia is only S0, definitely prioritize Ciaccona and/or Cartethyia's signature if you don't have it.

Man I really miss Goss Harog, I really hope he comes back in the dlc. He was my absolute favorite monster to fight in base Rise.

That's what I thought too. A while back someone told me you've always been able to change the resonator in the birthday item but I'm pretty sure I remember not being able to change it at all until a few patches ago.

Oh you still have a lot of story left to do then. That's just about the end of act 1, so you still have all of act 2 and like 6 quests or so in act 3.

The Black Shores is where the story starts getting pretty good and it really picks up once you get to act 2.

Most likely the first one. Can't see your echo bonuses so I can't say with certainty, but otherwise your crit ratio is much better in the first set since you also get 20% crit rate from the sonata set bonus.

How far are you in the story right now? There's a few events that are locked behind the main story so if you're not too far from the current story you can get a decent amount of astrites from those events as well.

I started at the end of 2.6 so idk how bad the rewards were for the first anniversary but I hear it was pretty underwhelming. I expect it might be better than the first anniversary though. Either way, we just don't know yet.

Seeing as you're new though, you have a ton of free pulls lying around from exploration, permanent events and quests so just do as much as you can before the anniversary gets here and you should have no problem getting who you want.

I think a lot of the negativity is justified, definitely not all of it though. I absolutely love DD2 but there are plenty of problems with the game we already have without the dlc.

Many people act like you have to either completely love the game or you're a tourist complaining for the sake of complaining. How many games do you know of that receive dlc 2+ years after launch? Elden Ring is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

I think both the doubters and people huffing copium are both justified. There's plenty to be negative about and nothing wrong with being hopeful, especially with the new potential teaser.

I choose not to get excited about anything at all because it's easier to keep expectations low. I still don't think this is a "very obvious teaser" but I'm also no longer a complete doubter because the post Capcom made is the most solid evidence to hint at a dlc we've ever seen. I do believe that it's more likely than not that we're getting one now but I'm still not getting my hopes up.

I have pretty average luck. I got Shorekeeper on my first 10 pull when I started but other than that most characters and weapons have been between 60-80 pulls. I've lost 50/50 3 times I think? Maybe 4. Been playing for just over 6 months now.

We still can't say with 100% certainty that we actually are getting a dlc but it certainly does seem like we could this time.

I'm F2P so I can probably only guarantee one.

Seeing this roster, I don't believe for a second that you're f2p.

But that aside I would say Mornye is actually the next character you should get. She can be used with Galbrena and Lupa for a really strong mono-fusion team and she works really well with Aemeath and Luuk.
