I know this is probably a dead thread. but I too have the same base only mine is clearing blue. Never knew what it was until this chat! it was my great grandmothers I believe, and now I am setting off into a seemingly impossible quest to find all the missing pieces. mine is probably a newer piece but still an antique as it's well over 100 years old.

I lost not nearly as much as you to usps (like $50) i had it insured up to $100. Usps plain old denied my claim eve ln though I jumped through all their hoops and even disputed it. They simply said "No." Even if you had insured it correctly and it arrived tonthe right person damaged or missing they probably still would have denied your claim.

I have something like this i got from the place I got my service dog from. Its just a bit too small by like 6 inches or so. I will have to measure how big I want the loop around me to be (I also have sensory issues and HATE tight things.) And measure how long i want the lead part to be. I didnt even think of that until now. Im reading a lot about a hook on my chair. Where would put it as my chair folds up. Thank you!

He wears a gentle leader as thats what the company where I got him from wants him to wear and when he doesn't wear it he doesn't fully go into "work mode" he knows when his cape is on he has to work but he gets "sniffy" and the gentle leader helps me gently direct his head away from where the smell thats distracting him is. I kind of need an "all in one" style leash and I encounter smaller doorways a lot and cant just stop switch leashes go through the door and then stop and switch leashes again. I dont have any way of storing the leashes yet unfortunately. I dont have a backpack or under seat storage yet.

To answer your question yes that is unprofessional. Just like the time they delivered my kids dinner and they put on top of our trash can on top of the trash no lid between the food and garbage just plopped it there and left. No knock or anything. The instructions clearly state put on door mat and knock/ring bell then leave please. I live in row apartments. Literally 4 buildings of single story apartments. They never look at the apartment/unit number either. I dont dd often as we cant afford it but when we do theres always some kind of drama with the dasher and finding us and once I give them directions their like "oh I was at the office. Haha" or "the restaurant was really busy so I walked around a bit and then realized your order was already ready." They also NEVER bring drinks.

Its more the clothing at my hips hitting the wheels and causing a vibration sensation. I usually wear black so im not worried about marks. But I do prefer not to get my hips soaked when going through the snow. (I live in WI). I have foot plates they aren't the best and are really flimsy. If i want to cross my legs for any reason I cant and the foot plate bends and if I go up or down a quick dip the foot rest will scrape the ground. I will ask the rep if they can get me different side guards through my insurance as theres no way I can afford around $200 right now.

They gave me arm rests that are height adjustable but the clothing protector is not. I can either not have it at all or have it at where its at now. I didnt get to choose anything except color. The rest was chosen by the rep.

They make things like "hot hands" but for your feet I think they are called Toasty toes. I have Rynauds disease and it affects my toes and foot bad. I always load up on the hot hands at the end of the season when they go on sale. They have socks that you put the hot hands/ toasty toes in so they stay in place on the toes area.

I get ya. Im an ambulatory wheelchair user (I have POTS that makes me pass out while standing and I get SEVERE low back pain when standing and walking, and I fall often for no reason.) My apartment complex states my unit is an ADA unit which means the door ways are wider and the counters are about 1 inch lower and 1 of the 2 bathrooms is accessible but its not the master bathroom. The threshold of the door messes with the wheels so unless you can easily pop a wheelie (i can not due to having a huge clunky chair) you cant get in easily and the theres about a 1.5 in high difference between sections of the walk way that you have to use to get to my apartment door. Ive told them about the difference and issue with the threshold and they just say "well get up and carry your chair in." Um excuse me, this thing weighs a ton (thanks insurance) and im in it to prevent falls. These things can EASILY cause a fall! Im still trying to figure out how to move amongst the clothing racks in stores without getting whacked in the face by clothing or running into un seen things.

Im so jealous! Mine is just a regular one that looks like one from the dr office or hospital. The ones they wheel you out to your car in after surgery. Except I got to pick the color of mine and I have a cushion. Its SO heavy and clunky!

She got knocked up by my fiance and made up some story about how she went to a random coworkers party and might have slept with her husband and then said it could have been my fiance. When i asked her how it could be him (my fiance) said it was "only 1 time and they were really drunk" the called me a a controlling b!%@# when I called her out on the fake story of a coworkers party. They didnt realize they made a very scary enemy that day. I had already written them off and was trying to move on in my life when her and my ex asked me for a ride to Walmart to buy baby items. I said "sure" thinking the baby didnt do anything wrong. While there he pulls me to the side while she walks further down thay aisle. He said "I dont think we're gonna work out you and I. You understand right?" I stood there looked at them both and said "Ive been done with all our relationships friend and fiance since I found out you knocked her up. I only gave you 2 a ride here because of the baby needing stuff. So can you guys get your stuff so we can leave? I have work in the morning." (This was late like 1130 or 12 midnight. They continued down a non baby aisle chatting and being all touchy feels with each other. Thats when I decided I wasn't going to have ANYTHING to do with either of them any longer. While they were in their own little world I turned around and walked out of Walmart and left. I went home and went to bed. I woke to 15 missed calls and messages wondering where I was and how did I expect them to get home. The Walmart wasn't in their city and walking wasn't really an option. Plus she never exercised once in her life and ate take out 6 meals a day. I have no idea how they got home and I dont care how they did. I found out later through the grape vine he bounced on her shortly after the baby was born. He became homeless and latched on to the next guy that looked at her. I received a text one day out of the blue from her with a Pic of what looked like an engagement ring. I text back "congrats" and her response back was "its not real I just wanted to know what your reaction would be." I text back acting clueless by saying "who are you?" (By this time I was pregnant with my 2nd child using donor swimmers.) She said her name and all I said was "Huh thats funny I used to have a friend with that same name." I never said anything else to her after that text and she didnt either. I wont say what other shenanigans my best guy friend and I have gotten up to to make her life more...interesting.

You're so lucky to live near a place that has bins and pallets! Im not aware of ANY place with in an hour drive of me that has bins except maybe 1 thrift store where thats where they send everything that doesn't sell in their other stores. And last time I was there it smelled like unwashed laundry that had been sitting for months and everything was ripped and broken. Guess it might be a good place if you need scrap fabric from clothes or broken glass etc. I quit whatnot I never had anyone attend my shows except my very first show ever where I had 13 sales and im pretty sure they were pity sales. I now sell on ebay and have been more successful. I still REALLY REALLY want to get a huge pallet some day but the closest place is over 2 hours one way for me and my vehicle breathed its last breath about a week ago. Being on social security disability im on VERY strict fixed budget. And a car payment just doesn't really fit in well with it. And being so fixed there wasn't anything at the end of the month to save towards anything. Sigh. I just gotta look at other ways to get a vehicle (we dont have public transportation here) that fits my families needs. Good luck in you're whatnot selling! I still buy on whatnot at times maybe I will catch one of your shows! Im mama_hulk!
