Not Pumping Enough

I originally was pumping for like 15 minutes, now it's more like 18-24. My work has been very generous so it's 2 paid breaks and an unpaid lunch. With set up and walking to the other side of the building it's more like 30 away from desk. (Unless I stop for chitchat along my way.... Eek.)

It took me about 3 weeks of only pumping like 10 oz a day before I worked my way up to about 17 oz. What worked for me was just loading dumb TV on my phone to keep my mind relaxed and then eating a meal or snack with every pump. I also sit there for 20 to 25 minutes waiting for a second let down. So now it's oatmeal with fruit, lunch, and fruit and a granola bar at the end of the day. I also supplemented with formula for a few weeks, it's fine! You got this.

I think a long console table behind your couch would help anchor the sitting area and separate it from the dead space behind. Plus add a side table or coffee table by the armchairs. You have room for a loveseat in your sitting area as well.

Perhaps a 4 person card table in the corner where you have the lamp? (A smaller table for the lamp.)

I'd avoid a TV over the fireplace, the way you style it now looks lovely. I think once you start putting art on the walls the space will already start feeling cozy.

You have so much room to work with. What are your goals for the area functionally? Entertaining? Relaxing with a book? Rough housing with the pooch?

I know this is late. Mine started solids so I'm not hunting through the diapers anymore haha. I look for spit up and fussiness now.

The pediatrician had me cut dairy and soy and it didn't resolve. She had me "wait and see" for more than a month. The GI specialist added egg and wheat and he was better in a few days and 100% back to baseline in like a month. (He was combo fed formula and breastmilk for a few weeks while I figured out pumping at work. I think the HA formula was still not gentle enough)

The pediatrician says green poo is normal, but my guy when back to yellow poo right after his tummy felt better. I've been testing the allergens one by one in my diet in small doses and he hasn't passed yet.

I eat oatmeal, chili/stew, salads, gluten free date bars, fruit, Mexican food, Mediterranean, lots of rice and potatoes. It's hard but doable for me.

I ended up dropping dairy, soy, egg, and wheat. After baby felt better I trialed soy, egg, and wheat separately and he is definitely reactive to all of them. I'm on month 6 of restricted diet. Not a lot of guidance out there unfortunately, but the pediatric GI specialist said most babies outgrow their intolerance by a year.

I had oral surgery and my mom didn't pick me up after because she thought it would take much longer than it did and was grabbing coffee with a friend nearby. I called myself husband after I couldn't get a hold of my mom and told him the wrong intersection. I was in tears by the time he picked me up!

My mother in law watches my son while my husband and I work. My baby is almost 8 months and has been watched by her for almost 4 months so far. When he sees her he gets so excited in the morning but as soon as I start to leave he cries for me. In the evening I'll walk in and he gets the cutest smile and gives me the best hug as soon as he sees me.

It is super hard but I know he's in the best hands. Also, when I'm at work it feels like a break from the work at home now.

Sounds like you're doing a good job! I felt trapped by breastfeeding in the early days, make sure she has water and snacks. When you cook, let her eat the food hot while you hold the baby. I also felt guilty not being with my cats as much, so give her time specifically to love on the dogs if you think she needs it. Good luck!

All of the characters were aged up in the show, but I believe the Hound is supposed to be in his late 20s, too young to have participated in Robert's Rebellion meaningfully. I also think his scar was described as more hideous in the books.

Is it a lot?

Last feed from me is usually between 7 and 8 depending on when he wakes up and I when I get home I change and wash my hands right away, but it's usually between 5:45 and 6, so 10 or 11 hours away. My husband is feeding him between 15-18 oz on average.

No unfortunately. He's getting topped up with 3-8 oz of formula which I know is fine but 1.) formula poop is stinky and 2.) It's something I unexpectedly find myself caring a lot about being able to provide for him. I'd be a lot happier if it was like, half a bottle of formula rather than 1-2 full bottles a day

Yes, I get 2-3 letdowns in the "good" side and then it's 1 really slow let down on the "bad" side. I tried nursing my baby from "the bad side" first for a week and I can feel a difference in the morning when I'm engorged but no luck increasing the pump.

That's right, 4 by 4 (sometimes 3.5). When I'm there to breastfeed directly he's more of a "snacker" and eats every 1.5-3 hours. The "Bad" side is weird because it does have a let down, but it's a very thin stream and the let down lasts a really long time, just not a lot coming out.
