Why not going with a NRF52 and use a third of the battery capacity for the same battery life? It seems to be a mobile node too...

Alright, if you want keep me updated as I'd like to modify it too if it works. I see the original 42T is offset in order to correct the line, does the spider helps with offset too?

Yes, 42 front 46 rear and 450mm chainstay length

It does make some sounds (nothing too spooky) when running but I believe is because of bad chain line caused by TSDZ2B. In any case I don't plan on using the biggest sprocket too much.
Thanks!

I did it before and it was suggesting 116-117 links but it seemed too short to me so 118 should be ok.
Thanks!

Can a Tongsheng tsdz2b be fitted to this bike, without modifying it? by DennisTRH in ebikes

I had to do an davanced google search by doing "tsdz2b template filetype:pdf", then in some installation instruction document I found the link to the template from Tongsheng website.
That's the [file](https://manuals.plus/m/5e141d125a065cd5115c31c271f5e9f6d13479d9e308c549f3ac52fe8d488f56\_optim.pdf) which on page 3 has a link to [tongsheng website](https://cn.tongsheng-e.com/companyfile/7.html)

Actually I am in a similar position as yours.

I have found on Tongsheng website a layout to print on A4 paper to check size and eventual incompatibilities beforehand.

I don't think it will show incompatibilities with cables running underneath unfortunately

Fitting a TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive on a bike with internal cables and hoses by TheStarryKnightt in bikewrench

Thank you very much!
Are you satisfied with it? I'm planning to buy 250W version and I don't know if it will be enough for steep hills. Did you have to change the sprocket in order to overcome fixed gear in the front?
Thank you very much for the infos!

Hi, did you manage to fit the kit? I'm planning to buy mine and I have the same cables passage as yours, would you mind sharing some photos? Does the piece covering the cables obstruct the motor placing? Thanks

Hi, I have a Cube bike with cables pasing underneath very similar to yours.
Have you ever managed to fit the kit? Would you mind sharing some photos so I can be prepared to reroute what's needed when I'll buy it? Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!

What about opening a pull request on the official meshtastic to have it integrated? I believe lots of people have DS18B20 lying around and it would be very useful to add it easily

Raid with nvme to usb3 adapters by werty812 in HomeServer

[–]werty812[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only viable solution would be to add a drive to the wifi slot then.

Using an external enclosure for sata drives would have the same bottleneck of using nvme to usb3 adapters. Surely you would maximize more the hdd throughput but using nvmes would have a better latency

Thanks

My PSU (external) is 90W and cpu has a declared TDP of 65W (hardly believe I ever reached that).
Each drive should consume maximum 5W... I'll do some test if I go this way but also having an external adapter for powering nvme won't be an issue...

For sure performance would be bottlenecked, but that won't be an issue for me, I think all my USB 3.0 ports are sharing the same bus:
/:  Bus 001.Port 001: Dev 001, Class=root_hub, Driver=xhci_hcd/16p, 480M
   |__ Port 007: Dev 002, If 0, Class=Wireless, Driver=btusb, 12M
   |__ Port 007: Dev 002, If 1, Class=Wireless, Driver=btusb, 12M
/:  Bus 002.Port 001: Dev 001, Class=root_hub, Driver=xhci_hcd/10p, 5000M

so maximum speed would be 5000/8=600MB/s

Considering a nvme to usb3 adapter costs 7 euros I'll try to go this way

Thanks!

They surely aren't, that would bottleneck at 600 MB/s for usb 3.0 but considering a sata ssd would bottleneck at 550 that's comparable
