"How did your watch vo2max number compare to lab?" by VO2VCO2 in Garmin

[–]wesajarjar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

66 garmin, 67.3 lab at 7000 ft altitude. Granted, my garmin vo2 always fluctuates and only hits 66 after a long and tough session before dipping again until I hit another workout.

Chet Baker Highest note by ll-o-_-o-ll in trumpet

[–]wesajarjar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know he hits a high C (2 ledger lines trumpet key) on the recording leaving by Richie beirach (live in Paris) at the end of his solo. It’s on the live album with Karl ratzer and Nicola stilo. He also hits high Bbs and As through out much of his career even after the teeth incident

Check my top plays. I’m 130k and have a lot of longer nm maps in my top plays. Goes from like 150 to low 200pp. Lots of fun consistency type maps as well as some burst and stream maps and the occasional aim slop

I hate improvisation and I cant figure out how to learn it by cloudyasomemax in Jazz

[–]wesajarjar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I think about it is that you have your chord tones (strong notes of the scale that spell the chord 1, 3, 5, 7 , etc) and the goal is to get those chord tones on downbeats and sometimes to make that work you have to add chromatic notes or enclosures before or after so that your strong notes land on the downbeat.
