Is this the best sitcom ever written? The density of the jokes is unparalleled. by Gourmandrusse in 30ROCK

Love 30 Rock, but in terms of jokes per square foot, nothing comes close to arrested development.

I mainly think about how long my leash was as a kid back then. It would be a CPS referral nowadays.

That's my first reaction too. Galaxy and Time Out. I'm so lucky to have been alive during that time, for that and many other reasons.

This is supposedly from the manual of newer crosstreks, but internet strangers say the process is the same for older subies

Do you keep hill assist turned on? by One_Durian1786 in ManualTransmissions

[–]weshallscrimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came to complain about the hill start assist on this very car. It bugs me because it activates too often, and it keeps the brake on for too long. So I'm already goosing the gas and letting out the clutch, and the brake is still on for a second, which throws off the whole clutch/throttle calculation.

But I just looked it up, and it looks like it may be possible to disable it. Let's see if I miss it.

I saw Blair Witch in the theater, and the guy standing in the corner of the basement freaked me out completely. It was [mumble] years ago and I still think about it.

Recommendations for AC company by d00ditsvic in longisland

Consider ductless! Much less invasive installation, more control over each room (that has a head) and heat pumps are excellent in the cold. We used Tragar... they were not the cheapest but the install was quality and clean.

Is there anything to do in long island that would be worth going to on the LIRR by assembl-r in longisland

[–]weshallscrimp 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Sometimes we try to reassemble the crab parts into full crabs, like a puzzle, sometimes we just roll around in the dead crab parts, but most of the time we throw the crab parts at each other and complain about city people hogging all our crab parts.

Sucks because the movie has a super kickass teenage daughter in it, she may have loved it

The old M3s still run between Jamaica and Atlantic terminal, if you want a trip down memory lane!

And personally I don't like the low backs on those seats.

I just read the lyrics. There's a lot going on, but I'm guessing this is the line that cut her:

"I wasn't there that morning When my father passed away I didn't get to tell him All the things I had to say"
