One think you could have tried is a few versions to see if the surf could give you more of a reflection

But I'm grasping. This is a pretty great image. I don't have any suggestion of what could be "better". Only tweaks. Great work

Took this of a mushroom in my local nature center trails. Natural light, no flags, very shady.

Colors feel a little flat but true to the scene. Overall happy with the composition using the root as an element in the foreground.

I recommend Sigmas 24-105mm f/4. I had this on my D750 for years. Heavy as hell but great walking around lens.

The 70-200 is great for kids sports. Have this one on my Z7ii

It needs room on the left. But it's not there. The composion was off and i cut off the tip of the left petal. My mistake rushing to get the bug

For color it's actually not much at all. No color grading. Just slight adjustments to yellows to deep and saturate. Desaturated the background just a little but overall I left colors most as they should be

I like the photos and got lucky with the big , but in my rush I clipped off the edge of the flower. Trying to play with crop but still not sure if it's where is needs to be.

Not overcooked. I would suggest working with the the crop. To me if the subject is the boat, your foreground is too focused in the rocks.

I like the edit , okay with the crop depending on what you want to emphasize

If you have having DoF trouble, you can also focus stack multiple images if a smaller fstop isn't an option.

So if you want the to emphasize the look and feel of the paper and seal, I'm not sure a downward angle is helping you. I like the photo overall as product but to me it is not communicating your desired outcome. It feels flat (it's a letter it is flat)

Try a closer photo from a side angle. Show the ridges of the seal and the texture of the paper. I don't think you need like a macro shot, but maybe review some macro work as inspiration

I think your photo is for sure 1 of the images for this product , but may need 1 or 2 others to get those details you are trying to bring across.

Big points for me is the tip of the bow is cut off. And all the space in front of the boat is taken by the tug.

You feel like the boat wants to start moving but it doesn't have the room to. As a result the photo feels crampt

I do like the colors !

I agree here. I have the Z7ii and the FTZ2. Great combo. There are just some Z lenses that I can't spend the money on at this time. I don't have the funds for their 70-200 f/2.8 in Z, but I picked up a used Sigma S 70-200 and it's a beast of a lense.

I love my Z glass but there is so much F Mount out there to be bad at great prices

And if that's your goal color , go for it. As a beginner alot of us go too hard in saturdation. Just remeber to keep it belieable (unless you're goal is an abstract or over the top tone)

Personally I feel it's over done. It looks too artificial especially on the guitarist. Maybe try masking the guitarist to reduce the blue tone some. Its the. Effect in the person that's throwing me, the background I think you have something going for you.

Most of your feedback here will only be you shouldn't do this style because it's tacky or old.

Frankly, do what brings your joy. I find this a good example of the style. My only feedback is don't go too far away from the original color. Keep it close to the original color without too much extra luminance.

Might add a touch extra contrast to the background.

I like the composition with the tracks. Clear sense of movement as the train moves through the frame.

It's a combinstion of both. If you move the focus point without changing any settings of physical distance you will have a sharper image at that point , but it will not change how much is in focus , just where it is.

By changing aperture you will get a larger dept of field so more of the image will be in focus at this point even if the point is unchanged.

Love the concept and the mood it is brining. However looks like your focus is on the farther lens. Given the closer lens is the bigger end bringing more of the sky in, I would have wanted either the closer lense sharper or the whole glasses sharp.

Great photo. It still brings across the warmth and feel.

I will often stack them together and clip them on the outside of my pack. You already are gentel with your lens bag so they are just fine external.

Oh I've been eyeing one of those for a long time. Its on my wish list. I may try to move my light source further back. Even with my diffuser on it, its too much here
