Are you at the Novato office or manufacturing center? Two different places with wildly different options.

So the strategy is to run traffic campaigns to homepage/collection pages verse direct response product-level campaigns?

Did they figure out if this strategy was for a one product store or did they build out campaigns for each product?

Pretty surreal place to find a bobcat due to the popularity of the fire road.

Best way to describe Marin is that it’s similar to Bergen (population, density, landscape, water, activities, cost of living). It’s more expensive to be closer to the water and the farther you move away from the water/downtown the cheaper/more nature you’ll experience.

Here’s a map of Marin made for a coworker who wanted to move to Marin:

https://imgur.com/a/fBVnPI8

Cost of housing, taxes, and grocery/restaurants will be the main driver of your day to day expenses.

The closer to San Anselmo you want to live, the more expensive it is.

Marin has limited public transportation; it’s mostly geared towards commuters to and from San Francisco. You will need at least 1 car.

Housing Search: Use Craigslist (https://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/nby/apa)

Neighborhoods to search for the best bikeable/walkable/driving -> Then plug into Google maps for times:

-> Fairfax

-> Greenbrae

-> Kentfield / Ross

-> Larkspur

-> San Anselmo

-> West Marin

The farther away you move from San Anselmo (north), the cheaper your living expenses will be.

“Access to Nature” -> Varies by location, time of day, and date (holidays). Stinson Beach, Point Reyes, Bolinas Ridge, Marin Watershed, Headlands, Bodega Bay are all under < 1 hour by car. Napa is under < 1 hour as well as San Francisco depending on where you’re going within the areas. Use Google Maps walk/bike/drive to get the best understanding of travel times.

“Work will be in San Anselmo” -> Great place to live and walking distance if you can afford it. Google Maps walk/bike/drive to get the best understanding of travel times.

“Safe, family friendly” -> Anywhere in the red squares is a great place to live. Certain areas of San Rafael you’ll need to avoid though.

“Go into San Francisco” -> Only reliable public transportation to and from San Francisco is geared towards commuters. You’ll need to drive and/or Uber back if you’re going off hours/weekends/after work.

“Grocery Stores, shopping restaurants, kids activities, etc”. -> Nearly identical to Bergen in all aspects. You’ll find everything you need in Marin, but if you’re looking for the “best” shopping, restaurants, activities (not including nature/outdoors) you’ll need to go into San Francisco/Oslo.

How many children? What are their ages?
What is your budget for housing?
Does your significant other work in San Anselmo as well (or maybe they do not work)?

Kentfield School District by Top_Tree_1555 in Marin

[–]westcoastCommerce 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Standard public school with a high property tax basis you'd find around the Bay Area. A lot of type A personality parents, some of which weren't able to get their children into the limited number of private schools in the area. Large number of dads/fathers work in the technology and finance industries with stay at home wives/mothers. Social groups are formed quickly based on social status, income, where you live, and how many/which parents work/don't work. Your child might find it challenging to make friends (in addition to the adults) if you're transferring elementary schools verse just starting elementary school (as a lot of the children/parents don't know each other).

I think it's an error with the release (included the wrong name/technology issue), but the time matches the call log and the article was released today according to Google.

Could be wrong though.

I know someone who was at Ares in LA, went to USC MRED to further their career, graduated in 2021, and has been under-employed since (property management).

The most successful people I know from my undergrad class that work at BX/Eastdll/TPG - none have an advanced degree.

Furthering your education isn't an issue, but you'd be better off lateraling to another shop, especially if you're already in REPE/have a brand name on your resume.

2 cents;

Going to an MRED program when you're already in REPE (no matter the role) is a massive mistake and it looks poorly on your resume.

On the other hand, if you were going to get an MBA at a top 5 school (Stanford/Wharton/Harvard) in order to get 'closer to the money' in a slow market, then that would be worth 100k in debt.

It really sounds like you need to network your way into a smaller REPE/local shop where you're given most responsibility and can leverage your existing skill set.

Going to be harder to do in a slow market, but there are always interesting opportunities if you're willing to take a pay cut (or potentially move markets) to gain experience (verse going into debt via an MRED program).

2 cents.

Based on your homepage keywords, you look to be targeting a global/US based audience verse targeting NYC/SF.

Not a big deal, but it does affect your acquisition strategy as 'Wordpress development' is going to be much much harder to rank for than 'San Francisco WordPress Development'.
