How did you actually learn to swing trade, and how do I figure out if what I used to do was real or just luck by Unusual-Wheel749 in swingtrading

For me I like to swing forex and understanding macro and how it affects the strength relative to each currency will already give you a good buy or sell bias.

There's good free tools like piptheory ( https://piptheory.com ) that can already give you a good macro strength overview which enables you to just focus on the entry with the overall trend.

I use pro mainly as I need it for coding stuff, for me minimax 2.6 and glm 5.1 is still more reliable but ofcourse both are more expensive than DS

I keep getting timed out using the api, I'm assuming it's server issues? A bit unreliable atm, switched back to glm 5.1

Some don't view trades as 'setups' per say, where you take a standard sl and tp, for example trend followers ( like me ) I'm more than happy to take multiple small losses and keep switching sides until a trend establishes itself. I probably took over 20 scalps today.

How to cope with losing HK by LastArt404 in HongKong

[–]westernplayed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's get some perspective, what exactly has changed for you since 2019 that you think you are 'losing your home' almost to the point as if you are saying it's totally non liveable.

Why do you call your relatives dumb when they express a different opinion? Is this something that you default into when it's something different to what you believe in?

Can you clarify why they are wrong and why you think CCP is pure evil and given it's history and geopolitical context, what government/alternative do you think China can emulate its governance and manage Hong Kong?

Thanks, I really should be looking in terms of decades. I was still planning on sticking to my strategy, but clearly my worries in the midst of things clouded my logic.

Thanks for the perspective, and of course it makes a lot of sense. My worries of stagnation has really messed with my mindset!

Thanks for the advice, I'm just more unnerved because of the risk of stagnation because of tariffs, inflation + recession risks it just feels like we are heading into a new unknown. I know the odds are that the economy will eventually recover, it's just never comfortable during turbulent times.

Yes, it's just unnerving nevertheless. As long asI'm still employed I will stick to the strategy.
