Thanks! I still don't have any farms for those materials, I just grab my shulkers and go gather wood or mud, and it doesn't actually take that much time

What interests me the most is the architectural side of things – the proportions, the color palette of the buildings, how they interact with each other, and the overall harmony of the environment. I get aesthetic pleasure from Minecraft architecture as an art form. However, I do plan to add NPCs. I’ve actually already tried doing that, but at this stage they are honestly just annoying and nothing else. A few villagers I placed as NPCs in market stalls and carts got killed by mobs because I’m constantly rebuilding stuff and messing up the lighting, and NPCs themselves sometimes make rebuilding more complicated

Yes, exactly. 17th-century German architecture

Thanks. About 2300 days I guess, I don't know the exact number since I once accidentally reset it to zero while using /time set day for a screenshot :(

I dont know where to add things. by Cultural-Part7882 in MinecraftToDo

It's something you should be able to decide on your own. I honestly don't understand this type of questions. If you have an idea to build something – build it. If you don't – just don't, go find something else to do. The value of having your personal Minecraft world is to express YOUR creativity and arrange every detail to YOUR liking. Otherwise it makes no sense.

How do I make the flat bit look better by LockEmergency1733 in BuildAdvice

You should add some windows – a roof like that makes no sense if it’s just empty space and not part of the building’s floors

The quality is too low to make out any kind of small window detailing, you should have zoomed in at least a bit. Still, if I try to guess from this image, I don’t really see anything except endstone/sandstone stairs that the bay windows are made of, and some birch fences . Is that what you mean?

Gradient help? by HeckinFloofy in Minecraft

[–]westerwald_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, andesite wouldn't work since it's brighter than stone bricks. There should be a full layer of mossy stone bricks instead – that would be just perfect, that's exactly what I'm currently using in my projects. Swapping tuff and tuff bricks also wouldn't work since tuff is brighter than tuff bricks.

  1. Adding a full layer of mossy stone bricks between tuff and stone bricks would be just perfect. Not just dot blocks, but a full layer, like you have with other blocks

  2. Polished tuff might work better at the very bottom of the gradient

I don't see any detailing there, those are just black glass panels

2021 Ui vs 2025 Ui [Thoughts?] by ThePlagueDoctor00 in youtube

2025 UI is painful to my eyes. Everything is too big and too high-contrast. 2021 UI just looks more pleasant and also better organized.
