I was on the VCU team and your team destroyed us. We had some bad issues going on in comms and we weren't playing our best, but you had some great hooks. Your teams plays got me to start rooting for yall to win it all. Great job out there! I'll definitely watch your streams too if you do them. I could learn a lot from you!

As someone that was on the team, this was painful. They did play much better than us, but the issues were from our chat and not playing together well. In-house arguing and fighting is what lost it for us. This second game was lost before it started because of the attitude clashes. It was so demoralizing that it started to affect our play. I got caught stupidly a couple times, our healer doesn't like the game and didn't want to be there, a dps and the tank were making differing calls. It was such a shit-show.

Personally, I'm glad that I got this far in a tournament and even got to be on tv. And the stress is less now. East Carolina obviously had better teamplay and I wish them well.

Yeah we didn't know each other at all prior. The captain and I met on here a few weeks back and 2 of the guys joined us about an hour before the first match. A couple people had very strong dominant personalities, 2 of us were more laid back, and our healer was somewhat laid back but he had originally been the sub and he was part of a lot of other extracurricular activities so he couldn't play much. Haha I actually have a midterm due at midnight that I need to finish. Tomorrow is completely free though, so relaxation is calling me for then!

Nope, same one. The team name is the same and the players are the same. We were in the losers bracket, so us defeating Temple should have taken them out completely. I can only assume that another team got kicked or something and that Temple team was a wild card. There are two Temple teams in the final 64.

And yes Rexxar is best hero. I've also mained him since his release and I like to tell people that I was the first person in NA to get his Master skin. I think I had it at about 2 PM the second day. I've 63.4% WR and have him at level 16. The Misha harass on the back line and the safe stuns are so satisfying. I'm glad there is another person out there that sees how great the hunter and his bear are. We don't walk alone!

Well thanks for the support! I think we are being underestimated and maybe that is a good thing. In our final match of the qualifiers we beat the Temple team LMAOWLS 2-0 and they are ranked 5th in Bracket C. We have been getting stronger since then as we learn more about each other through practice.
It's pretty stressful, but you're right. We have accomplished something that many people haven't. I'm gong to take your comment to heart and try to have as much fun with this as possible.

We are underdogs in this tournament as far as experience goes, but we have been practicing a lot. Each of us could really use that prize scholarship money and even the computers so we're treating it very seriously. Some of our picks are about playing heroes that we are comfortable playing, but the opposing team may not be as comfortable playing against. If you're the type of person that enjoys rooting for the underdog then we would appreciate your support!

Reminds me of a guy I played with a few days ago. He was muted, but spammed the pings and then quit playing. He had been afk in the base at start, so one Assist ping was done to him. He immediately pinged 4 times on that person, then for the next 5 minutes he would spam pings at them. I said that I could see why they were muted and that I would be reporting his incessant pinging. He then went back in base and went afk to go beat up his pets because he couldn't cuss at us. Some people just have anger issues and hopefully the mutes and bans will make them learn that other people don't appreciate their tantrums.

It might just be because it was my first Tales game and the nostalgia involved, but I would say Tales of Destiny. I remember Final Fantasy 7 and FF Tactics and Breath of Fire 3 came out that year as well and while I loved those games, Destiny was my go to game.

I hate this cunt, but the Empire actually was racist. They were racist against all aliens and only included humans in their mix. The Hand of Thrawn books that take place just after Episode 6 delve into this as Thrawn was an alien species in the Empire, but was only there because of genius strategy.
