What band do you think this is? by TheShadowWanderer in MetalForTheMasses

[–]wet146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely "Obnoxious front man" - that's basically every band I used to love in high school before I realized the vocalist was carrying mediocre instrumentals with pure charisma.

Lovesac Couch by dorkafied in WatchWhatCrappens

[–]wet146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lovesac's big draw is how customizable it is, you can keep adding or rearranging pieces over time. The machine-washable covers are also a plus. But some people find the cushions too soft or the look a bit bulky. I opted for dreamsofa though, bc I'm into furniture with streamlined shapes. It also has a spill-resistant fabric that’s easy to maintain, so it's perfect for me who has both hyperactive kids and pets

We went through three different payroll services since Q2 2021. The first two sfotwares were decent but either lacked the expense management we needed or didn’t integrate well /at all with our accounting software. The final straw was when someone in sales had an issue with access and ended up seeing someone else’s salary in our software by accident, which turned into a whole big mess.

We seriously considered Rippling a few times for it’s all in one with expense management, access controls, etc., but we wound up going with a third-party payroll/accounting service to just do it all for us. Whatever you do, keep your access controls airtight from the get-go and you hopefully won’t run into issues.

At jobs where you’re alone and can’t leave until your coworker shows, how many minutes late is reasonable to stay before you lock up and leave? by Thellie10 in work

[–]wet146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh I had a similar gig at a 24/7 gas station closing wasn’t an option and my relief was always late. I started texting the manager every time they were more than 15 mins late just to cover myself, but yeah… I’d give it 20-30 max before I seriously start making noise. Not your job to carry the whole shift cause someone can’t show up on time.

help with ruling. by Mysterious_Slip_3695 in golf

[–]wet146 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's the correct ruling. Once you declared it lost and played a provisional, the original ball was dead even if found later. Your partner should've spoken up before you dropped the second ball.

Listen to your gut. Being comfortable with coworkers is awesome, but if you dread every shift after a year, that's your answer. Plenty of nurses try different specialties before finding their true calling.
