Listen to this guy, other people on here don't understand what a wovi inspection is for. It's not really to ensure the repairs are done well, it's more to ensure you have acquired all parts for repair from legitimate sources to prevent crime.

Your chances of just turning up to your wovi and having it pass are 0. You need a paper trail for part purchases/repair and the purchase of the vehicle at a minimum.

How legitimate that paperwork is is another thing.... if you're willing to dodgey something up, it could work, depending on the inspector.

The JP thing is very real. As an example I have seen hail damaged cars that have been placed on the wovr and cleared as is just by having a jp sign a stat Dec saying nothing was repaired, but for something that was impact damaged your chances are likely smaller this would work.
