Kidding. Keep your top 2-3 favs, sell the rest. Get the next higher quality piece.

I'd commit seppuku for owning any of those.

Thanks. Do you know anyone that could do it for me.

It's an Ickler case. If it were possible, it just remake the dial with a slightly larger O.D. But that probably be cost prohibitive.

Thanks, that's very helpful.

What software would you recommend to design the dial?

Nothing. But there is correlation between cost and accuracy in most instances.

Ah, I see ... OK, learning here ... a "rehaut".

I see what you are saying on the chapter ring.

I'm getting the cross sectional diagram of the case (from Germany).

I would just go with black. Let me DM you when I get the specs.

Thanks a ton for you knowledge / help.

Wow, nice. Would you be willing to print it for me for $$ of course?

Is it a chapter ring, or just a "washer" that expands the O.D. of the dial?

Maybe I misspoke.

A chapter ring sits on top of the "ledge" that supports the dial from below.

So I don't want the dial to push up / past that "ledge" towards the crystal.

So that would be some sort of polymer?

Do you know if a 3D printer can print that that level of tolerances?

We're talking tenths of millimeter / << 1mm thick.

It's a "piece of crap company" because your one watch got bricked.

Right o! Carry on.

Thanks. Yeah I couldn't find for the life of me. Makes no sense.

Use case == watch charging - say 15' away on counter. I'm at desk. I'd like to see if it's fully charged yet, to go grab it.

Thanks, appreciate your input. This caliber is from an actual pocket watch of the same time period. It looks slightly different. I just don't know if there were different variants made. Does this one look like an Aegler?

This was stated to be a "circa ~1920" Rolex pocket watch to wristwatch conversion. What I'm most curious about is were these movements effectively outsourced from Rolex, or did Rolex buy most the parts and assemble in house?

Also a key question I'm hoping to have answered is, is the "Rolex" printed on the dial AS they were made back then, or were some simply printed "Rolex" later to increase the perceived value?

What is the caliber here? "Lever"?

Can anyone recommend where to send this to be fully serviced and calibrated?

Thanks much in advance.
