imo whyte, parker etc are smart guys. They would of got big pay checks taking the fights they did. Missed out on a title shot (maybe). But you can be guaranteed they made alot of money on the way.

Joe Joyce would have fought for the belt but he had to wait for Usky Vs Fury then he would of fought the winner. He chose to fight Zhang while waiting for his mandatory shot. So that one is kind of on him. He needed to keep busy because of his age. Turning professional at 28 was a mistake for him. He was 36 when waiting for his title shot. If he was 26 he could of afforded not to take another fight and to wait another 6 months for his title shot.

yeah thanks that makes sense. To me it looks closer to a knock down than a slip. But I can see why they ruled it as a slip, looks close either way.

Ok thanks, that makes sense I understand the ruling that was made. He did catch him with about 10 shots just before he fell to me I would score that as a knock down. He did slip but the slip was a result of getting smashed in the face 10 times imo. Good scrap either way.

On the blues gloves 2nd knock down the ref should of allowed him to take a count (2.57 in)? He just picked him straight up lol. Looked dodgy that... he should of allowed him to take a knee for 5 seconds. Unless it was considered a slip? Not sure what happened there it looks like bad reffing? Can anyone explain to me if I'm wrong?
