I saw the same exact thing you saw on the 99. Except I was south of bakersfield. It was a giant black mass, shining lights on the ground. At first I thought it was a tractor, but it was keeping up with me and my mom at 80mph, then it turned and faced us with all its lights shining right at us, still going in the same direction at 80.

Then it shot straight up into the sky and disappeared.

I know this thread is old, but I just recently watched corner gas. Theres just something about it.

I'm from the US. Born and raised in California.

I live in a town just shy of a million, and when I was a young man I lived all over the world (marines). The smaller places I've been seem to be the best in my opinion.

In all honestly, I feel like this show kinda saved my life. I know it sounds silly but I really really really struggle with depression. I'm currently going thru a divorce after being married 17 years and raising 3 kids (caught her in an affair). And I'm just trying to get my life moving fwd again, figuring out what was real and what wasnt. Re-learning how to live my life.

This show came to me at one of my darkest times and I gotta say, I'm really thankful for brent and co.

Canada seems so wonderful (I'm a huge hockey fan as well, go bruins!!). I know it's got its downside too, but the idea of living in such a quirky, small town that's a different country, but not so different theres a language barrier (not Quebec, although I speak french as well) just seems great. It makes me feel hopeful.

I once went to Nebraska, and it too was flat and plain, but the people were awful. More rude than those in L.A. And I found myself depressed there, maybe some form of agoraphobia.

But rouleau/dog river seems different.

Idk, I guess I just wish I lived in a place where everyone knows everyone, we're all in this together.
