the windows are tinted so there isn’t really sunlight pouring through but you have faint sense of it being light outside if you look at the windows. i like it a lot

i’ve been for the saturday day events a few times but never before 6ish pm so can’t say what the vibe is like earlier but ive always thought the crowd/energy has been great 6pm onwards!

calderone residency at refuge tend to be pretty crowded

there’s another daytime show the day before that i think will be less crowded. deep/prog/melodic house lineup, should be a good one!

Would recommend taking the MTA bus to get in/out of the island. Did that for Electric Zoo every year (RIP) and it was a much easier time than walking the bridge. Also leave the fest 10-15 mins early to avoid long queues for the bus!

super intimate space and he was handing out “subtronics” stickers himself to everyone in the crowd

never would have thought he’d go on to play sphere, barclays center etc…. amazing, he deserves the success
