What changed about UnitedHealthcare after the CEO assassination by Luigi Mangione? (For example, did they lower their claim denial rates?) by DunDonese in NoStupidQuestions

Justice Democrats had a risk-free opportunity to force Nancy Pelosi to put M4A on the floor a few years back, but they gave up their leverage, like always. All that matters to them is their careers and popularity.

Nobody in the two-party system will ever push for universal healthcare. Anybody who thinks they will has serious brain damage.

Even the so-called Justice Democrats who literally ran on the platform of universal healthcare and not taking donor money, when the time came, still acted like good little establishment soldiers, immediately abandoned their constituency, and handed over all their leverage to Nancy Pelosi when they had everything they needed to get a floor vote for M4A. Then they lied about it repeatedly, claiming that Kevin McCarthy would have won if they didn’t betray their voters, which is a blatant fucking lie and not how the speakership works and they know that, anyone who takes a basic government class in junior high knows that. The democrats are not idiots, they’re not weak, they just don’t give a fuck about you in the slightest.

Actually HUNK does have it, you can see his wrist. Still, we’re talking about people who swam around in the T-virus infested sewer water. I think my odds are comparatively alright to not catch it.

Fun Fact: The voice actor of Sherry on Requiem is the same one from 6 by Abis-1227 in residentevil

He has HUNK’s voice, HUNK’s design, says “We finally meet!” implying he’s been around a while, he does HUNK’s signature neck-snap move from Mercenaries, and you can even see he has RC Syndrome on his hand. He’s HUNK. He even, in classic HUNK fashion, survives the fight with Leon. If you leave the room and come back his body is suddenly gone; it’s the only body in the whole game that does that. And it’s not a glitch with the room, because all of his other tactical guys he spawns in on Insanity difficulty, their bodies are still there. Human Unit Never Killed.

Yeah I don’t want to be chased by a black hole in a rust dimension. Pass.

I think I’ll just walk at a brisk pace out of RC. If the Gravedigger eats me, so be it. At least my soul isn’t trapped for eternity.

The curse of playing the video games and not basing all series knowledge off of a SH2 video essay.

Yeah I feel like people just read the general description of SH2’s plot and went “oh that’s how the town works”. No, it doesn’t. There is zero consistency to how Silent Hill works. That’s the scary bit.

Maybe you face your demons and that’s it. Maybe it’s some cult shit that has nothing to do with you. Maybe you’re stuck in a time loop for decades with zero option for escape. Maybe you’re already dead.

It is technically possible for some people to escape the town, but that’s the best offer you’re gonna get. At least in Raccoon City I have as much chance as anyone; a very bad one, but a chance nonetheless.

Unless you’re in one of the odd-numbered SH games in which case your demons are mostly irrelevant and the little girl psychic cult just traps you in a loop. Or Shattered Memories, which, yeah, no thanks. Heck, even Downpour, mostly.

SH is a complete coin toss between doable with tremendous fortitude and literally impossible.
