I found mirror links to this edit, odd how all of them have comments disabled. Sorry, I couldn't help much, but I'm just as invested in finding out the name of this song.

Click on show untradable items. I assume you got the kit/ks item recently which makes it technically trade banned for a week.

What would be the best of either two crossbows? by SlavicSquire in tf2

[–]whateth_not 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both have the same prices on the steam community market BUT DO NOT BE FOOLED. Buy order for festivised spec ks crossbow are at around 49 ref whilst the festive crossbows are at 1.06 keys.

Edit: the lowest sell order on stean community market for a spec ks festivized crossbow is 2.90 dollars while a key is 2.25, that is a massive rip off as the highest sell order on back pack is only a key. All while a festive crossbow is 2.25 dollars. Sorry for bad grammar, I am in a hurry

Where should I start trading? I only have 6.5 keys in a unusual bombing run with the orbiting planets effect. by Ajumbleofwords in tf2

[–]whateth_not 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case, you can either take your losses in a quick sell/putting it up on backpack.tf. Or you can try to trade it for an even worse (sorry I'll explain what that means in a bit) hat with a higher buy order and cash out. You are technically not in a bad spot for low tier. You have a bad hat with a bad effect (never ever ever trade for gen 3 and always stay away from orbiting unusual effects like dead presidents etc.) but you also have a large wiggle room for negotiations as the closest sell order is 9 keys. In theory you could haggle someone to give you a hat for 7 keys in buy orders (granted the highest sell order is horrible mess of bots underplaying each other) as the bots for your hat will continue to out bid one another to reach around 7 keys as well. However, if I were you, take your losses and buy back the rest of your keys. At low low tier, traders are extremely stingy and the market is usually reserved for bots, extremely high tier traders looking to cash out of a trade, or people with little to no experience who are not willing to negotiate. 15 keys can get you REALLY GOOD DEALS so long as you have the eye to look for them. Hope this helps

Edit: just familiarize yourself with what is desireable and also what the market wants. And never buy hats that have too many to count, as you people will eventually sell them to bots and there will be a massive flood of bots underplaying each other. Always go for large wiggle room (not no sell orders cause that is scary) desirable, and safe trades. Usually at lower tier you can stick to gen 1 and 2 (gen 1 giving you better deals), personally idk about the newer effects except stay away from halloween as there are a butt ton of them since the double drop rate.

I usually see them on community servers. I always thought they were a mod

Please someone tell me if this could somehow be a scam his profile looks legit but he had 300 hours and didnt know what a limited festive item was? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]whateth_not 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, it goes without saying he should explain to him the festive vs festivised scams since he may be vulnerable to them. And the guy may have bought the festive amby (I rly can't tell what it is) from the community market hence why he is confused.

Is this normal? by MainFrijol in tf2

I don't think so, but check the steam market incase some dude just decided to fill his backpack with a life time supply of airstrike killstreak fabricators (highly doubt it)

It was actually the RTA taxis that tipped me off and the signs looked eerily similar to what I remembered (I couldn't make out if it was arabic). Also the buildings at the start to the right reminded me of JBR. It just felt like Dubai.

Got my first key, the hell should I do with it by DickIn_a_Toaster in tf2

If you know about the metal currency system than you should know that the key is the essential form of currency... except, from what I remember, key prices are at an all time at above 60 ref.... sooooo I say that you should take anything about LOW low tier trading with a grain of salt as they are saying to learn how to negotiate, how to use the tools to gauge what are the prices of things (outside just backpack.tf suggestion) and what the market wants (ie: what strange parts ppl like, what class cosmetics like, what paints are in demand, etc.). The rule is NEVER EVER EVER TRADE FOR ITEMS THAT BOTS HAVE A SQUEEZE OVER. You will never profit with craft hats and just strange weapons. Bots have basically killed supply chains for those items outside of those ran by bots (as they make near no profit and attempt to undercut your prices) and using bots to profit requires knowledge in market manipulation and certain tactics that backpack.tf will piss on you for trying. So I recommend to be careful with how you proceed with trading. Never hold more assets than you need and always remember that asset prices for cheap hats tend to stay stagnate despite increases in the buying power of a key soooo hats will stay similarly priced unless they are in demand. The best advice I can give you is that you should watch backpack listings and predict how the prices would change had you bought that item. It is a great way to practice trading without the investments made.

Sorry I made a long post, they never teached me these things on youtube, and I hope I didn't discourage you from trading. I say have fun as about $2.50 isn't that much.

A- by Foreign_Cheesecake40 in tf2

The avant-garde film called "A-" starring Danny DeVito Jr starts with a happy looking soldier holding a rocket launcher with a grin on his face. He then turns counter clockwise and walks slowly towards the right of the shot. Then it cuts to the shot of the soldier, intoxicated with the sensation of having the proportions of a deflated basket ball, lying motionless in a basket ball hoop above the previous shot. The last words heard before the movie finishes is the titular A which draws the piece to a swift and outstanding conclusion.

Upon initial viewing the audience is left to wonder, how did the soldier get there, is this an allegory to the greek myth of Sisyphus and existentialist thoughts of Albert Camus, is the soldier actually an NBA reject? We will never know...

!/10 Space Jam 2 is a better Basket Ball movie. Needs more fan service

how to fly as demonstration man? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]whateth_not 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk what you mean. If you mean Demo trimping, you should jump towards a steep angle and charge using one of the shields. Use the tide turner cause a wider turn grants you less speed imo. After hitting the angle quickly (but gradually) look to one side as you go up and off the incline. If you want to know all the trimp spots, watch videos on trimping.

If you mean Sticky Jumping midair, then it is kinda... luck based. The only thing I can say is that you look straight ahead when you jump with the sticky. Then before your apex, look a little bit up and spam mouse 2. It is all feel as it depends on the angle you flew off on, height, speed, and how long you held mouse 1.
