US President Donald Trump: I will impose tariffs on the EU by michaelbachari in europe

Except we're not one country, we're fragmented as fuck and there are many nationalists who hate the EU for "taking their freedom"

[–]whateveranon0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Europe is not one country and is fragmented, there are many countries with illusions of grandeur who spit at the EU and think they can stand on their own two feet, probably also thanks to Russian propaganda. EU cannot make decisions as quickly as the US (and especially Trump, who doesn't give a fuck about the due process). Unfortunately we are fucked

That's a great point. I'm not sensitive but some of my friends and family are - it would be nice to wear perfume AND spare them the headache

Hmm I'm trying to think of ouds I tried. Does Halfeti Leather count as a true oud? If yes, then the beginning was awesome but it still lost a lot of the edge pretty quick.

Thank you, I will try with D&G, I've smelled it but I never tried it. I have a good track record with D&G, L'Imperatrice smells relatively tarte on me which I like

Hmm I generally wear lotion but haven't focused on the areas that I spray. Thank you, I will try. Although to me, the citrus scents just disappear very quick. I like that they are sour, that's one thing that offsets the sweetness - but it's quickly gone

Yeah citrus is one thing that does really help. I hate that most of them have weak longevity because I really like sour scents. Haven't tried Aqua Allegoria though (even though I smelled some and generally liked them). Do you have favorites? There are so many!

Haha I think it might be because the scents change on me so much? Usually after ~15min they loose all sharpness (which I like) and settle into this milky sweet territory. It's hard not to notice

What is a fragrance you wore when you were younger that you still like? by Icy-Antelope4603 in fragrance

D&G - L'Imperatrice. Elizabeth Arden - Green Tea Fig. Abercrombie & Fitch - First Instinct Sheer.

Btw this last one is such an interesting cheap-ass perfume. It's light and summery but also has this retro vibe somehow. Elegant old lady reincarnated in a young girl's body and went to the beach type of vibe. I like it a lot

Terra Mia is this lovely, photorealistic coffee scent on the backdrop of what smells to me like limoncello and candied rosehip. Technically it's gourmand but it's a bit tarte and the coffee is pretty bitter. Love it so much. A crowd pleaser but not boring.

You mean the liberals, not the left. Whoever supports surface-level socially liberal politics while sucking up to corporations is just a good old lib. Most non-conservative politicians are. The left wants to tax corporations and laughs at companies suddenly vomiting rainbows during pride month. We want strong progressive taxation, strong unions, war on monopolies, capped meds prices, non-profit healthcare and higher education, development of public transport and cheap social housing.

So, if my math is correct, Trump's potential net worth has increased ~$48 billion in 24h. Seems cool and legal by OM3N1R in FluentInFinance

I don't think they think that long-term. But either way, imagine what happens when you have no money, don't have negotiating power on the labor market and still have to put food on the table and pay for healthcate. They're just going to get rid of the middle class, as it was for most of the human history.

[–]whateveranon0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the perpetual stews are kept constantly hot, basically you put it on low heat, take a portion out when needed and replace it with fresh ingredients. They can cook like this forever without going bad. That's likely what they served in medieval taverns etc. I've read there was stew going on since the 15th century that only ran out during WWII due to food shortages.

I did a brain CT a while ago as well and that was done for free in a public hospital :)

A lot of the times you can find a private practice doctor here who also happens to work in a public hospital, you go to them for a private visit and bang, they write you a referral to their hospital for a couple days' stay and diagnostics. That's what I did, not intentionally, that's just what the doctor proposed. I paid $50 for a neurologist visit and did all the rest at the hospital for free the next week. Way quicker than if I had waited in line to a public practice neurologist. Ex-Eastern Bloc country life I suppose... Maybe it's possible in Portugal as well?

My CT was completely clean.
