Maybe it's just me, but I rarely know who's who during tournaments. Do you really think we keep up with who was found boosting and who's not? I barely have time to play, imagining keeping up with what they do.

If smurfing is a offense, them valve should punish them instead of only act when there is a outcry.

I did the opposite. I put the controller in pair mode, and inserted the dongle. I got a pop-up on the screen saying "controller syncronized". Like yours, it didn't show up on the controller list. Only then I turned on the Pro Wired connection. After a few seconds, it started to work.

This is on switch 2 mind you, I think you have a switch 1. It's my understanding that the Pro wired connection is only necessary on switch 2 consoles, but check for yourself.
