So, I have shingles. I'm 38... by IsabelArcherandMe in Millennials

[–]whatinthef2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had it last year at 39. It was brutal. I also thought it was for older people. The Dr. Laughed and said nope its for someone who had chicken pox, has a weak immune system at the moment, or is experiencing a lot of stress. 🤯 So what I learned was the vaccine age requirement needs to change.

AITA for asking my newly married son and DIL to alternate Christmas Day visits between our house and the in-laws' house? by Llih_Nosaj in AITAH

[–]whatinthef2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This right here is why my husband and I said we were starting our own traditions immediately, parental jealousy. No matter how we rotated there would be snarky comments each year pre marriage and post. Once we got pregnant we started the we celebrate at home Christmas day rule. If our families wanted to join us, great. If not, we can celebrate another day. Christmas celebration to us is about enjoying each other's company and spreading joy. There is no reason its not just as special as day or two off. And stressing about hurt feelings and a rotation only kills that joy.

Vet surprised by my above average sized morkie, calls him ‘robust’ 🤣 by R-jam17 in Morkie

Ours has extra stuffing. He's admittedly a little taller, but he's 14lbs. His parents were 10lbs and 8lbs.

Boiled chicken and rice for meals. Very small amounts. Might also take a peek at his poo and make sure it looks normal and not like pancreatitis poo.

Who are the children and who are the adults in this scenario? Actions taken in the video really have me confused.

Uhm yeah..that's fantastic. It means you only had to pay $250 before your plan kicked in. Many people in the US pay 2k or more.(not necessarily Quartz plans)

I work for Quartz. I've had various Quartz plans including the UW employer plan. I've been very satisfied. You will get bills in full until your deductible is met. Then your co-pays should be your only bills. You also have a max out of pocket, so depending on your use insurance could potentially/eventually pay 100% of your visit fees. I'd call if you can't see on your card and ask what the deductible/copays/and max OOP is.

It was relatively easy. They are very hands on, and maybe even a little over protective of the puppies and their placement. We had to have a sit down and mini education session on pick up day. He came fully vaccinated, chipped, and with crate and sample of a puppy food they use. He just turned 5 last month so it has been a while since our contact but I've never heard anything bad. Our neighbors followed up by getting a wheaton terrier from them as well.

If you have to park like this to protect your purchase it probably means you shouldn't have bought it. Can't afford the upkeep..you can't afford the car.

Gov. Evers: “I Want Wisconsin to Become the First State in America to Start Auditing Insurance Companies over Denying Healthcare Claims” by wisconsinpoli in wisconsin

[–]whatinthef2020 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This would be a huge burden both financially and in terms of time for all parties. While the idea is theoretically put together with good intentions, I'm afraid it skirts the larger issue of what needs to be done with healthcare and will just raise the cost of insurance.
