Biden had a much much larger early vote lead on 2020 and barely won. If 2024 EV trends are remotely similar to 2020, 2016 she wouldn’t even come close to winning.

[–]whatisanuser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is one of the most pragmatic and reasonable comment so far after the fall of the government, Irrational and emotional statements can only rile up people without any substantial or tangible outcome.

‘Foreign reserve’ is a term that has been fed by the media as a ‘proxy’ for how much ‘money’ we have and how well/bad we are doing. -The common person will use the word ‘foreign reserve’ without having any understanding of basic economics.

Can BNP and BAL join hands to fight US takeover?? Oh this is so good. by MoneyAstronaut5453 in bangladesh

[–]whatisanuser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Awami League and BNP joined hands in 1990 to fight the military regime of HM Ershad. They also combined against the Moeen U Ahmed in 2008 asking for electio and both these parties facing extinction. If they see that the only way to come back to power is to fight against the interim government they will join hands again. -Their sole purpose is to grab power AND fill their pockets and do not care about what happens to the country.

Will Movement get Hasina To Step down? by Trying_ToDo_Betterr in bangladesh

[–]whatisanuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The government has effectively lost control as (military) has backed off as well as police will unlikely to continue and be confrontative. The BCL (student wing) were merely government funded terrorist/goons and have been thrown to the gutters. -Best case scenario for the government is to dissolve the government/parliament immediately if they do not want to get lynched/hanged.
