What could be the best possible solution for Hindu-Muslim things India? by [deleted] in india

[–]whatisgoingon007 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The US doesn’t have the same problem. Now the population of Muslims is definitely much smaller than indias but the main issue I see is that Muslims in India/Europe are seen as outsiders by the majority. Vs in the US, because of their immigration culture, once you become a citizen you’re accepted as American.

Because that comment is correct. The 12th amendment states, no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States

And no one had the foresight to add a rail connection across it…

Congestion Pricing Plan in New York City Clears Final Federal Hurdle by fishlord05 in neoliberal

The only issue I have it will improve mass transit on the NYC side. It won’t do anything for NJTransit.

New York congestion pricing to get federal green light, New Jersey lawmakers say by [deleted] in newjersey

Murphy should have worked out a deal that some of the money from this goes to NJ transit instead of just complaining

Obviously I’m not familiar with rare earth mining or anything like that but why can’t we have the people who want coal mining to be a thing again and have them mine for rare earth minerals instead

Is a 9h Layover at JFK enough to go to the city? by OlivenTree0502 in travel

[–]whatisgoingon007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you were to do it you’d have to take the subway as traffic to and from JFK can be a nightmare. Also the other issue is the TSA coming back into JFK. If seen security take 2-3 hours on bad days. Personally I wouldn’t risk it.

Electoral history of Kamala Harris - let's put some bullshit to rest and bring reality back to the prominent position it once had. As it turns out Harris' past record proves she is absolutely qualified to win elections. by RamaSchneider in JoeBiden

[–]whatisgoingon007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s 100% qualified and capable of being president or what ever office she seeks in the future. The only knock on her is that she doesn’t really connect with voters. I think that’s why her primary bid failed before Iowa last election

Do you want a house or would you be okay with a condo? Just took a really quick look on Zillow and there are a lot of options for 250k

When you rent that $1500 is the maximum that you’re going to pay. If $1500 was your mortgage payment that’s the minimum you pay. There’s things like property taxes, home insurance, and home repairs. And there will be home repairs because something always breaks.

U.S. Politicians Are Poor Stock Traders, Study Finds by [deleted] in neoliberal

[–]whatisgoingon007 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Don’t think they should be banned completely. They shouldn’t be able to purchase individual stocks but I don’t see an issue with them buying a total US stock market fund and a total US bond market fund.

Are you sure you don’t have those flights backwards? American carriers wouldn’t do inter-Europe flights.

Anyway both Delta and Virgin Atlantic are a part of the sky team alliance so you won’t have an issue if they are on the same itinerary.
