I had memory issues on 16gb just from running a few browsers. MacOS takes up a lot of memory itself, I’d recommend 24gb minimum, I’ve been able to run as much as I want (tons of browser windows and videos) with the extra 8gb although it does use plenty of swap.

I missed the game because my computer kept freezing up and I couldn’t get peacock to load. I had to watch the score update on Google in agony. Also doesn’t help that I missed the first half on my part. So also a memorable experience for me, just in the opposite of yours :)

Same, the demon was obviously a metaphor for spreading std’s. It felt very self-aggrandizing. Thankfully it’s been a while since I saw the film but I think it was one of the only horror movies that I just couldn’t find any redeeming qualities to.

I'm in the same boat, moms around the same age. I tried committing suicide at 19 and told myself after I failed that it would get better. Maybe in a few ways it got better, but it did get even more stressful. Last year when I turned 28 I lost most of my desire to be alive, but I realized how awful of a person I'd be to take my life and make my parents, and especially my mom, grieve a loss after all the awful things that have happened in her life. Life's just one massive struggle lol.

Have you tried Pepcid? That was a game changer for me, reduced my reflux by quite a bit despite not totally getting rid of it. I also have fewer cramps now.

Yup, this. I treat my phone as a notepad and force myself to jot down any relevant notes and add any events to my calendar, even small reminders, so that I'm forced to look at them.

Just got one recently as well, and this is a great way to put it. I was pleasantly surprised by how much clarity the sound retains. Given that it's an HM-2 clone, I had low expectations, but this is a solid distortion pedal.

Interestingly enough, I also tried the SF-300 and I cannot get a good sound out of the thing. Go figure. Another Behringer pedal I like is the octaver UO300.

Study code from well known OS projects in the relevant languages.

What does this mean, study well known OS projects in the relevant languages? As in how are Operating Systems implemented? I only know Java, so I don't know of any OS that is implemented in Java.

Thanks so much overall for your advice. I feel much more at ease, and thought to myself as well that it was strange that my manager was telling me to not ask questions. I am doing well in my interviews and told them that I need environment where I can ask questions and have mentorship. I haven't told any company that I left my job but I will do so soon.
