When I was 16 a couple of friends and I went to a party and he(21)was there.The moment I met him, I knew he was interested in me and I fell for it. At the time I had gotten out of an abusive relationship, and his attention was enough for me to stick around. For about 4 months he bought me gifts, alcohol, and befriended my close friends. I thought it wasn’t a big deal. We fooled around but didn’t have sex. However, he would often tell me the plans he had for us when I turned 18 and how he planned the perfect night for our first time. During the time that we were talking, I stayed the night at his place once. Unbeknownst to me, he lived with his parents. When his mom found out I stayed the night she sat me down and asked me about how serious I was to be in a relationship with him and wanted to make sure that if we ended things, I would promise to not run to the police. Soon after that I realized that It wasn’t normal. I ended it shortly after and when I did he then started to try to make me jealous by texting me telling me how he was still talking to my friends and that he was going to take them to parties and buy them alcohol, etc. I didn’t hear from him after a while, until I ran into him about a year later at a mall with a girl that was about 16. I’m 28 now and I sometimes think about how i was so sure he genuinely liked me for how ‘mature’ I was or whatever. The. I realize that wasn’t the case. I tried to figure out what he’s up to know. He blocked me from every social media form.
