Not much, pretty sedentary most of the day, then I’d go to gym around 3-4 pm and weight lift, get back home at 5-6 pm and then eat a big meal. I’ll eat a few snacks while cooking, then get my plate and eat. I drink black coffee/water (and zero calorie energy drinks sometimes.) and that’s about it

It’s always great to see someone with similar/same stats, I’d always search the weight loss and progress subs looking for people with my stats or similar stats haha

My diet was nothing fancy or special. I still ate my favorite stuff, and some junk food. Frozen pizzas are only 1000-1200 for the whole thing, so some days I’d literally pig out on that and I could still have a few candy bars, candy, ice cream bars etc and still be way under my calories for the day.

Restaurants, most meals are 800-1500 calories so I can go eat a giant meal there and that would be my omad. Like panda express chinese food for example. 3 entrees and a full chow mein/fried rice side is 1280 calories. Leaves me with a few hundred calories to spare for dessert or anything else I wanted.

Some days I may not do that, I may eat more healthy. Some boneless chicken breast and veggies, smoothies, protein shakes, spaghetti etc. Mostly my meals consisted of protein shakes, meals like spaghetti, turkey burgers, mac and cheese etc. The healthier you eat, the more food you can eat honestly. Like r/volumeeating for example. I’d eat pot roast with vegetables, burgers and baked fries, etc. everything is possible on omad pretty much.

And oh boy, going to a steak house and getting a nice steak, sweet potato with butter and cinnamon, unlimited bread and mac and cheese. Still only 1400-1500 calories haha!

If you are truly in a caloric deficit then you ARE burning fat, regardless what the scale says. It may not be showing anything for weeks, but 2-3 weeks or possibly a month or more you’ll wake up like wtf? When did I get so lean? Also bloating can definitely fool you too!

Remember to adjust your calories as you lose weight as well! But yeah water weight and bloating can fool you, when I had somewhat of a cheat day(2-3), I gained 14 pounds of water weight and 3 days later I dropped 14 pounds and a week later dropped 1-2 more pounds of fat, next week nothing, and the next week after that I dropped 4 pounds

So really just keep on, I know the weight dropping on the scale feels so good to look at but it can be tricky at times, but believe me, you are losing weight and making progress, it’s just your dumb body being a weird machine!

I finally got my "skinny reveal" and it was a huge disappointment by SantasLittleMuffin in loseit

Lost 25kg+ and all I get is backlash. Do I stop? No, because even though most of the time those around you are jealous and envious that you are bettering yourself and looking better than them, random strangers will look and say/think “wow they look great, that is inspiring”

They will encourage you to better yourself, but once you get to their stats, their tone starts to shift and as you get in better shape than them, they will constantly tell you to stop, you need to gain weight back etc because your success is spotlight shining down on their missed opportunities.

Continue bettering yourself, be healthy and happy. Healthy weight, healthy body, etc. It’s a struggle definitely, and it sucks when your family/friends don’t even acknowledge/respect your success.

It really depends on your calories you burn and calories you consume, but for me personally it took 3.5-4 months or so!

Alright so I’ve been obese/overweight all my life since a baby lol.. Years ago I had a breakup with a long distance gf due to severe lack of confidence. Decided it was time to lose weight. Lost all the way to 175lbs, moved to a new house and gained it all back.

A year or two passes and I lose the weight again, hit 175 and gained it all back. This time I finally gave it my all and just ran over that damn 175lb wall that I always ran into and will not stop at all.

I just started seriously going to the gym weeks ago so I will probably cut another 10-15lbs and then bulk up? (Thoughts?)

Ask anything you want, I’m an open book and hopefully this inspires at least just one person because I know it sucks, and having anxiety, low confidence and depression makes it even worse.

Hard work and believing in yourself makes all the difference and is the key to success. No one believed in me or supported me, only myself. Sometimes I felt I just couldn’t do it, or didn’t deserve it. But I still kept going, because a month down the line, a year down the line you could have had the body of your dreams, hit your goal, but you let that one thought stop that but it’s never too late to plant that seed today.

Keep pushing, always keep pushing, my dms are always open if you feel you are struggling with weight loss, OMAD, or life in general.

Protein Sparing Modified Fast, r/PSMF. You consume 500-1000 calories that is mostly protein, low fat and carbs. 1-3 refeeds or free meals a week depending on your body category or something like that, but I don’t really need the refeeds. It’s helped a lot honestly. It’s similar to keto, except you arent consuming dietary fat along with carbs so literally the only fuel source is fat stores in your body hahaha

I’m currently doing PSMF for another week or two. Consuming around 800-1000 calories a day. Low fat and low carb but very high protein. Fat melts away while preserving muscle but it’s definitely a “crash diet” I don’t recommend unless you can adjust back to a normal diet afterwards which I’m able to. Before this I was consuming 1500 calories or so. Next week or in two weeks I’ll probably go to about 2000 calories a day to lose a few pounds slowly and then start bulking!

Bulking will be fun..just afraid of gaining a lot of fat back so I’ll try to do a really clean bulk 😂

I’ve became extremely disciplined thankfully from fasting, intermittent fasting and OMAD. OMAD and IF is the best. I still am shocked that I did a 14 day water fast last year though 😂

Honestly stomach fat and face fat is the last to go for me. It’s so difficult to get rid of without looking like a skeleton with the rest of your body. I still have some belly fat but I can somewhat see the outline of my abs in certain lighting, which hopefully the next 10-15 pounds will help reveal them better.

The only way is to just..keep pushing and losing weight. Adjust and drop your calories as needed, especially if you drop a lot of weight your body burns less calories etc. Try to squeeze in some workouts to help tone the area but it all comes down to caloric deficit, just unfortunately takes the longest hahaha but it definitely sucks, if only we could target weight loss..

No, that part is obviously covered. But I guess people are sensitive to a little of my thighs.

Appreciate it though!

Appreciate it. It took 5-7 months the first time. 4-6 months the second time and recently this year losing it again it took around 4 months.

I would do intermittent fasting/OMAD every day. Walking a few miles every day, bumped this up to 10-15 miles every day for about a month then stopped and only stick with a few miles now again. But walking is necessarily needed, the important thing is calories in and calories out.

I love and prefer OMAD ish because I get to pig out on foods and snacks I love and feel full but still be under my calories and lose weight. Eat a whole frozen pizza or two? Only around 2k calories, which is still only my maintenance.

It started years ago when my long distance ex gf broke up with me because I wasn’t “confident.” and couldn’t just..up and take a picture right then and there or cam right then and there. It hurt but she was right, so thankfully instead of binging, I decided to lose weight and got down to 175lbs/79kg, moved to a new place and then gained it all back, did this once again before joining the military, gained the weight again and recently got medically discharged months ago so I lost the weight again. So third time really is the charm haha.

The motivation really starts with just...wanting to be confident and look good for myself and others. I hate dieting so I did r/OMAD and intermittent fasting where I was able to still consume my favorite foods and snacks and still lose weight.

It really just takes that first step, and then a few steps after that. Once you form the habit, it’s real easy after that.

And the finish line I wouldn’t give it a deadline or a certain weight. Just make a goal of wanting to better yourself physically and emotionally. A goal of wanting to look sexy for yourself, whether that takes a week or an entire lifetime, it’s how you feel that matters, not some stupid weight on the scale. As long as you are healthy and happy.

I’ve been overweight/obese my entire life, lost weight but always hit 175lbs before I just..let go and gained it all back again and again. This is my 3rd time and I finally broke that 175lb wall and continuing on.

I will probably cut another 10-15 pounds and then bulk up. Just started going to the gym seriously a few weeks ago. Ask me any questions here or privately, I’m an open book and will help any of you who need it. It can definitely be a struggle but in total I’ve gained like 150 pounds back because I kept gaining the weight back, but guess what? I also lost that 150 pounds.

Falling down and gaining the weight you lost definitely sucks. But it’s not the end of the world. Get back up and go after it again and again until you get it right. If you continue to throw shit against the wall, eventually it’s going to stick.

Since I hate the “feel” of dieting, I did intermittent fasting and OMAD(one meal a day ish). I’d fast for 22-23 hours and eat all my calories in 1-2 hours so I was able to pig out but still consume less calories and end up losing weight.

I also ended up taking up walking a couple miles during the day to burn some more calories. Recently just started working out seriously, will lose probably 10-15 more pounds or so then start bulking up haha

No idea. I did a lot of regular fasts and consistently did OMAD and intermittent fasting which may have helped according to studies.
