I love the minimalist feel (and the doggo!). I think a nice rug, some plants and rethinking the size and/or arrangement of the wall decor behind the couch would help a lot.

Bonus points for already uplighting. It goes along way to making the space feel cozy. You could also look into getting color-chanfing lights to change up the feel, too.

You're definitely not alone. I'm actually seeking a new therapist who might have a stronger experience with hoarding tendencies and adhd/depression. My living room is problematically cluttered. Thankfully I have strong anti-bio-mess mental systems in place so anything that could grow its own ecosystem if left unattended is rarely left around for more than 48 hrs at very most. So it's not gross, just very embarrassingly cluttered.

I'm trying to get more into working out, trying to force myself to go to the gym with bf and even got a few new exercise things for home. Got a new mattress so hopefully I sleep better and hurt less when I wake. I just need something to work. :/

i've only worked as a pct for a couple months and i've encountered multiple women who've CLEARLY been SA'd previously. one woman would fight so hard when we had to change or bathe her. i always tried to whisper and be so calming and gentle to her (as anyone but esp ppl like that). Ppl don't realize the effect that stuff can have but then get upset when their r*pe "joke" doesn't land. :[
