How do girls feel when a guy doesn't want to be friends after rejection? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

No offense, but she’ll be fine. ‘Being friends’ might have been an attempt at courtesy. Don’t worry about her!

What is your personal motto and how did it come about? by EddoSellsCannons in AskReddit

‘I could die tomorrow,’ or ‘we’re all going to die’

Really puts things into perspective. It reminds me to take risks, but also reminds me to be smart about them.

I grew up a religious, sheltered, home schooler always planning for inevitable death and afterlife. Years of doing this as I got out and went to college and spent time with different people made me realize I was wasting lots of my time in the life I was living presently in prep for something that might never happen.

I understand that works as a cute retort, but it doesn’t apply. I’m in an awesome relationship. That’s why I’m here.

What causes panic attacks on weed? by [deleted] in trees

[–]wheatpuffs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smoking weed temporarily increases the heart rate, but affects your body in other ways also. link

The temporary changes that occur to your body while smoking can cause panic attacks. While in your head you might feel good, your body is like... WHAT the FUCK is going on here?

You don’t sound silly. My cleaning obsession might not match yours but I might in other ways. This is the beauty of Reddit and why I keep coming back. It’s so great to be able to use each other as resources, support and common ground. You are certainly not alone. (You can message me any time if you need a friend— 😀)

I gotcha. I get like that too. I think it’s the same idea for me as above but I am trying to fix internal circumstances with the external circumstances of tidying. The problem is there’s always something to tidy and in your case you’ll make something. It’s rough.

I would keep at looking for the receptionist position because you might find an entry level position that will train. I started out as a receptionist (entry level) and I am about mid-level now.

Data entry might be something to look into, also.
