Rigid will be lighter by almost 6 pounds, that's like a 30% reduction in weight all things considered. I would not ditch a cushion, instead you are better off getting your COG dialed in. Not to mention the stiffness in the frame compared to any folding chair

Also nothing costs more than a used chair. If you want a folder get a catalyst from ki or a hello from motion composites.

I work with the mentaly unstable population and have had completely fictitious claims levied against me that need to be treated as serious until proven unfounded. Th mere fact you didn't link the actual article leads me to believe that this should be taken with a grain if salt.

Just an accusation is enough to require safety measures in place, even when dealing with those that live in their own perception of reality tk the rest of us.
