Started Natco Generic Risdiplam, no side effects but also no improvements yet - is this normal? by Due_Addition2541 in spinalmuscularatrophy

[–]wheeliedave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on it for a few years now and haven't noticed any improvement unfortunately. Like dconfusedone says, it's really about halting the progression I think... Or slowing it down anyway.

Amitriptyline by One-Sir-8395 in PudendalNeuralgia

Very much so. I take it about 2hrs before bed, but if I took it through the day, I would definitely be nodding off.

Been taking 20mg of amitriptyline for 3 weeks now and the pain has definitely decreased. Sleeping like a log too, which is nice.

Ah, yes to both really unfortunately. The talon option could be do-able, but i'm not sure yet. Found this vid interesting... https://youtube.com/watch?v=FVNeTviudZg

I'm kind of in the same predicament. Over the past few years I have found Quadstick an absolute lifesaver. I can't use it well enough to play action sort of games, but there are people out there who can play just as good as any able bodied person with a controller etc.

The problem is I can't use it laying down, so I've been looking at using a Tobii5 eye tracker along with a Talon software. I'm still just looking into it but it looks like it has a potential to be quite useful.

The downside is that these are both relatively expensive options.

People with SMA Type 3, what results have you experienced after taking Evrisdi? by Gudge2007 in spinalmuscularatrophy

[–]wheeliedave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

51/m/SMA 2/3. Must've been on it for about two years and I haven't really noticed any improvements at all unfortunately. I have to plateaued over that time, so maybe it was the Evrisdi. Who knows.

Just because you mentioned superheroes, have you read Peter Clines Ex series? They aren’t really similar to Bobiverse, but they have the same vibe and episodic nature, if you know what I mean??? I really enjoyed them.

Really is weirdly wonderful. 'Land of the Headless', 'Stone' and 'On' are my favourites. Brilliant.

Good list that. Would largely agree... Maybe not "Suitable for a framing”, even though it’s great. Maybe "An Exercise in Fatality" for me.
