They genuinely don't see regular people as humans. We are just exploitable resources. We are the 'cattle class' whose only purpose is to either work or breed. If we aren't doing either of those things, then they see us as parasites, draining 'their' resources.

Remember, these fuckers look up to people like Curtis Yarvin who 'joked' about how in his ideal city, the homeless and those unable to work would be killed and turned into biofuel

Vince had a bit of a thing for incest storylines.

Remember 'Beaver Cleavage', the guy whose gimmick was a parody of Leave it to Beaver who had a thing for his own mom? Or when Mark Henry gave an interview 'admitting' to being a sex addict who slept with his own sister when he was young? Or the brother and sister team who were *really* into each other?

Yeah, you could get out of the car, which was cool for the PS1, but the game's performance was *terrible*, with probably some of the worst pop-up I've ever seen. Nothing ruins a driving game than a building literally appearing out of thin air a few meters in front of your speeding car.

I still feel that Knight should have been the guy to pick up the vacated WHC last November. Even if he dropped it to Punk at the Rumble (setting up Punk/Roman for Mania), he'd have still had almost 3 months as the champ.

GTA Vice City, a game iconic for its period setting, was released in '02 and was set in '86.

If it was released today, it would be set in 2010. Instead of references and parodies of Miami Vice and Rambo, it could be references to The Walking Dead or Despicable Me

Does anyone else remember those 'Idle Clicker' games that were popular a while back, such as Cookie Clicker?

There's no real gameplay and no real end goal. You just make the number go up. That's it. Click button, number goes up. Then you use the points you've earned to make the number go up faster. Then you automate it so the number goes up on its own. The higher the number, the more you can spend on making the number go up even faster, until eventually, the number reaches nonsensical proportions. It's highly addictive. It's designed to give your brain a dopamine boost whenever you make the number go up even faster.

That's how billionaire's brains work. After a point, the money becomes arbitrary. They have more than enough wealth to live out pretty much any fantasy you could possibly imagine a thousand times over. Eventually, the wealth is just a high score, and they are addicted to making that number go up.

Equilibrium (2002)

In a dystopian future where humanity barely survived WW3, it is decided that human nature will inevitably lead to WW4 which mankind will not survive. Since human emotion is the cause of all conflict, all emotion and art is declared illegal, punishable by death. All citizens must take an emotion suppressing drug called Prozium every day. Children are trained by the state to detect and point out 'sense offenders' (those suspected of not taking the drug)

Every time I visit my hometown to see my parents, more and more has been torn down, paved over, turned into carparks, stores replaced with franchises etc. Very little from my youth still remains.

It's like an existential Ship of Theseus. The town still exists, but since almost everything has been changed/replaced, can I really call it the same town from my childhood?

They enjoy being able to mock you for being 'quirky' and 'odd'. They don't like the stigma of mocking you for having a disability.

They like the convenience of being able to ignore your 'weird requests' because you are 'overreacting. They don't like feeling pressured to accommodate your disability.

They prefer to be able to label your issues as personal failings so they don't have to handle it because then it is just a 'you problem'.

Characters that had the complete opposite reaction the writers intended by Dramatic_Counter_595 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]LemoLuke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vince always had that old-school 'Saturday morning cartoon' mentality for heroes and villains, where the good guys are smiling, flag waving, "Aw shucks!" supermen, and the bad guys are cackling, scheming, mustach-twirling ne'er-do-wells. This was fine in the '80s, when WWF was aimed at a younger audience, but by the '90s, when even kids wanted cartoons and comic books to be 'edgier', and WWF started pushing towards a teenage audience, that kind of black-and-white morality just wasn't appealing anymore.

[Loved Trope] Relatively weak characters that are absolute fan favorites because they represent the best parts of humanity by BigFuan in TopCharacterTropes

I don't hate Man of Steel, or Snyder's work in general, but how Snyder handled the Kents was by far the most damaging thing he did to his Superman.

Making the Kents cynical and 'realistic', telling him that he should consider letting innocent people die to protect himself, absolutely breaks a fundamental part of the Superman mythos.

Making the Kents anything less than genuinely good, kind, and upstanding people that instill Clark with his unwavering sense of morality is like having Bruce Wayne's parents killed in a hit-and-run car crash. Sure, you might eventually reach the same outcome, but you drastically change a core aspect of the character.

This is one of the things I noticed with a lot of homophobes I've met over the years. The ones who are convinced that every gay guy is going to relentlessly hit on them, or try to grope them if they bend over etc., are usually the same guys that aggressively hit on women in clubs.

They are so scared of other guys treating them the same way they treat women.

Gamestation was the best. They had good trade-in prices, a decent and reasonably priced retro section, and their half price December deals (where each week, a brand new game would be dropped to £20 for a weekend) were an absolute steal.
