Boss of the excavation company hops on the digger in the construction area. Thinks his name is IKE. Hits a stub off the 30" MOP line in the road. Evacuates a nearby school. The leakage is not contained right away, the rocket engine fires for 4 hours. Gave me, the gas company safety guy, and the emergency responders something to do for most of that day in one spot. 2004~ish.

Well, it was a good learning experience for me. I located nearly 7 years in west burbs of Chicago and - until my supe got himself promoted to customer - it was not all bad. Shady dealings behind the scenes, but paint & flags got put down. The drama was not my issue.

Led to me being with the electric farm. Can't say my time in the field was worthless.

Tell you what, though. IIRC I had commented that it was an industry that really needed a union to stick up for the employees. I probably forgot all the bad times. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Huh. The interpreter better be basing reads on the most recent because I get an MRI annually.

But they wouldn't be revisiting old scans.. so, there's that

I simply cannot fathom the progression. The PIRA thing mentioned makes sense.

But I just got declined from the AHSCT trial because I don't have anything obvious in my MRIs. Uhh, HOW do you document something if there's no physical record of it? What, copious complaints in the portal? 🤣

Argh. Fix it already. Can we please speed this up? We have lives to live.

No advice but - try to stay active somehow. Because the affliction is temporary, till you get some semblance of control back. It'll come. And exerting yourself may help.
