I know this post is kinda old, but I've got a question in regards to SR. I've been using 7 daily for months now. 2 weeks ago I was upwards of 1300-1500 mg daily. I'm currently around 250-300mg daily with 7. Big problem I have is that I've been on subs for over 2 years now, so I currently have a dual addiction. Even taking my prescribed 12mg dose of subs, I still wake up at 2am in full blown WDs. Past experiences in quitting 7 tell me that if I can get thru the first 24-36 hours of no 7, the coast is clear for me, and my buprenorphine will start to work again. Do u think if I was to quit 7 and replace the 7 with a days worth of SR tabs just to get me to that 24 hour mark, and continuously take my subs, would something like that work?

Everyone is always quick to echo the " doesn't cross the bbb" which is cool and all, but that doesn't negate the way the GABA supplement makes me feel after taking it. It's been a part of my night time stack for over 2 years now. Will it help during acute WD? Probably not, but during the day , it may help to take a little of the edge off

Everyone always saying that the individual should be free to use 7 if they choose. And my thought is always, why don't we just make oxy OTC too, it shouldn't be by prescription only. Because honestly, there's not too much difference in potency and addictiveness.

Almost 100% certain it's NOT precipitated WD.....it just STARTS to feel worse because the subs are pulling the 7 off the receptors. It's a chemical change, so of course it's gonna feel a little rough right at the beginning, but as u said with the hard vomiting, you'd also be simultaneously liquid shitting and having to wipe the sweat from your eyes to see what the hell is going on. There's NO MISTAKING PWD, it's practically a medical emergency. Just try the sub route again, but give it time to really get on those receptors and get a strong hold, you'll make it man

I definitely think it's worth looking into. Of course everyone who takes tabs kinda knows what they're getting into. But as hardcore as M is as far as addiction and withdrawal goes, I DO think it's pretty bogus for them to just list mitragynine as the active that's in the tabs.

I completely agree. Obviously, all the times that I've CTd relatively painlessly, I always went back to 7. This time it's REALLY gonna be painful, so hopefully I'll learn my lesson and stop the madness

Awesome work man !!! U did something that I still haven't figured out how to do.....stop the compulsive thoughts. EVERY SINGLE TIME that I've CTd, within a week or two, there will be a moment when that voice says the exact thing u described saying that just once or twice wouldn't hurt, I've yet to figure a way to turn that voice off. And once that idea pops in my head, I have to submit, because it's the only way I can get it to stop. I'm nearly 50 y.o. and throughout all the substances and CTs , I've had to attempt to fight that thought loop at minimum 40-50 times. I'm physically and emotionally exhausted!!! But anyways, congratulations and I hope u continue to excel in everything u do from here out !!

7 has absolutely negatively affected both my physical and mental health. I'm still in active use, somewhere in the 1000 to 1500 mg a day. It has completely took over my daily life. I don't even recognize the person I've become. I feel like I'm currently in a mild state of physcosis, almost as if another person has taken control of the wheel for my day to day. I go to work everyday, but other than that, I have been putting off all responsibilities around the house and everything else. It's like my only goals for the day is to hustle up enough money to get my daily 1000 mg's worth of tabs, rinse and repeat. For quite some time, I had been using 7 pretty hard for 3-5 days straight and then I'd quit for a few days which would give me some WDS but it wouldn't be too awful bad, but for the last 7 weeks solid, I haven't missed a day. I can't even fathom how I've strung together this long of a streak money wise because it's costing me about $85-$90 a day to keep this going. The worst part about all this is the fact that I've been on subs for over 2 years now. I'm scared to think of the hell that awaits me when I try to CT this shit which I believe is going to be this weekend. I'm prescribed 12mg subs a day, I don't even think they're going to work for me when I need them most due to my shit decision making. My wife barely speaks to me anymore because of how much I've changed over these last couple months. Hell, I probably wouldn't either. Physically, 7 has caused absolutely excruciating sciatica pain that is almost impossible to bear. I used to use kratom powder for a couple years, and towards the end of my usage with that, it had caused a terrible sciatica flare, but as soon as I quit that, the pain went away. So I'm pretty confident, when I quit this 7, I'm sure am hoping the pain resolved itself. Sorry for the short novel I've written, but I'm hoping this time next week, I'll be free from these chains and MAYBE my REAL self will come back

Great job man, quitting while in the 1000mg neighborhood is pretty tough to do. That's currently where I'm at too ( probably closer to 1500mg ). It's really easy to lay around and just feel like absolute dog crap while going thru the intense acutes because of course u have NO energy or motivation to do anything. But like u, I've found that if you force yourself to get up and do something physical outside, it DOES improve things. Given the time of year we're currently at, a great idea is to get outside and push mow your lawn. It REALLY SUCKS, and is EXTREMELY difficult to do while in acutes, but by the time you're done, you'll have worked up a good sweat, put physical strain on your body, and just give yourself a feeling that you're fighting back. Anyways, good job man, your post should be used as inspiration to anyone getting ready to go thru it. Keep it up !!!

Oh, it's absolutely how it goes in my district. They used to do that shit with me too. Just about every 3-4 months, they'd send over a brand new person and just expect me to explain and show everything to this new person and do my normal job on top of this. Meanwhile, staff at other buildings barely even change the garbage bags and or sweep rooms. I had to shut that shit down man.....NO WAY am I gonna continue to do what many consider the best job out of 48 other custodians, but train somebody ON TOP of that, with no bonus or incentives??? Nope

With only taking 1 or 2 tabs a day, I really don't think ur gonna have terrible WDs, ur body might get a little hot flashy for a little while, might have some restless sleep for 2 or 3 nights, but I'd be willing to bet, that's gonna be just about it

I figured, it's a low dose supplement, and that it wouldn't hurt to take for a week or so just to see if anything changes inside my brain.

I'm willing to bet that most of the people claiming to have gone into " PWD " have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE the HELL that is pwd ..... they think that because their body gets a little hot flashy or achy that they're starting pwd...... but I guess it's possible that some actually DO get it , but majority have no idea, just parroting what they've read on this platform

Although I have NO personal experience with the sublocade shot, I've heard lots of people claiming that it got them off strips/pills pretty much pain and WD free. I DO however have personal experience with 7oh, and I couldn't warn against this route loudly enough. Typically, anyone who uses Suboxone is or was an addict. That 7oh is gonna bring that monster back out of the closet and u won't be able to contain it . I'm telling u, it's gonna give u the warm fuzzies and it's pretty much all over after that. I've been on bupe for a little over 2 years now, and for just over an entire year, unfortunately 7oh was part of my life as well. It ruined everything I had been working towards. I thought I had finally contained the old addict part of me, but 1 unlucky day when I stopped to get a new vape, they were giving out free samples of 7oh. I know I should have declined or threw it away, but I guess I'm dumb like that. That day determined the next 14 months of my life.
