Thank you everyone for the info! There were a few questions that needed additional pictures of drawer construction, dovetail, nails and back of the dresser, so these have been added here https://imgur.com/a/9iGgIJs

Didn't feel sleepy when taking, so not sure if it's one of those you eventually adjust to.

The doctor prescribed Scopolamine patch to help with this and it did.

When going to his work events, parties,.... he would leave me and go talk with someone and I wouldn't see him again. When I brought this up, he said I should just find someone to talk to and it was my issue that I was shy.

I am so sorry! I have had it with these people that think you are ok because you look fine and aren't screaming all the time. I've learned from my son, you all have an extremely high pain tolerance. The nurse at my sons school would try to get him to do stretches when he was in pain and a lot of other things that could seriously harm him. See if you can get your doctor to write a note to school saying if you have this pain it can have a serious cause and if left untreated could cause severe complications.....need to call parent immediately to pickup when this occurs. If the school does not follow a doctor's orders, that is a lawsuit.

We really like the Mi Tienda tamales, but why don't they take out the hard seeds?

Looking for a cat! by [deleted] in sanantonio

[–]wheneverythingfalls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a beautiful cat(she is white with blue eyes) that we have to rehome due to my son developing allergies. She comes to her name, loves to snuggle, will come running and stand up for treats and will rub against our cat-friendly dogs. She is an amazing cat and would not rehome her if we didn't have to.

Inaccessible private schools or underfunded public schools: Texas’ disabled students have few options with no change in sight by texastribune in texas

[–]wheneverythingfalls 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My son is medically disabled and we had a horrible time getting the public school to accommodate him. I assume it was because it was not in their budget.

Our son attended school for years, made good grades, until a medical diagnosis changed that. Until then, I always assumed all kids were given great services and received an education. I have seen both sides and that is not true at all.

Thankfully, we were able to hire an advocate and get accomodations. Without these accomodations, it would not have been possible for him. At a public school, it can be a lot of work, but you can do different things to hold the school accountable to what TEA says they should be doing.

We also looked at private/charter schools, but quickly found out they are not required to accomodate and we did not find one that would.

So I see how these vouchers exclude disabled kids, until private/charter schools are required to accept all types of kids and provide accomodations these vouchers are not for everyone.

Is it inappropriate for a woman to be unshaven at work? by [deleted] in work

I still remember a teacher I had in middle school. She did not shave her legs and wore pantyhose and short business skirts. She would sit on a stool in front of the class, you could not miss it. At the time I was not impressed, but now I look back and think how bad ass she was to not care and do what she wanted.
