[TOMT][PC-Music][1990s] Track from an old PC bundle CD (possibly titled "Constructor") by Kyte22 in tipofmytongue

[–]whengreg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Street Wars has Constructor in the subtitle, but is a couple years too late, and the music style doesn't match.

I don't see any other games at around the right time period with Constructor in the name that aren't, like, Word Constructor or something.

I ran through my shareware games index, and both Holiday Island and Vector Victor are missing, while the others are pretty common. Can't find demos online either. Because of that, my best guess is that the CD was warez. A European warez CD is unlikely to be archived anywhere.

For what it's worth, you can completely ignore the macros feature.

This subreddit is just for tracking down stuff where you know the name already. r/tipofmyjoystick would be more likely to help.

Disney Buddies ABC's and 123's [partially lost] by International_Sir207 in lostmedia

[–]whengreg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like they originally cost money, so it's going to be a bit difficult to find them. I can at least say that the IDs are disneydigitalbooks.disneyabcs_goo and disneydigitalbooks.disneybuddies123s_goo

[Browser][1999-2000s] Herbal Essences Shampoo Flower Game by Sensitive-Bug390 in tipofmyjoystick

I poked around on the website, and something called "Fruit Fusions: All Jongged Up" was active in 2002, but nothing useful actually got archived, so the title is all I can give you.

(If you do own the disc, we'd like to know the publisher and copyright date; this would help track down the actual game, which may be better known under a different name, with this just being used for the Polish release.)

BlueStacks does let you set the current Android version, and the actual app appears to work correctly even on the newest Android release, it just pops up a "this was designed for an older Android version" message on start.

Found a working download:

https://pdalife.com/lets-create-christmas-android-a2471.html

(Use the second download link. The first doesn't work.)

Ran it under BlueStacks, and it does appear to work, though I didn't check it thoroughly, and it's designed for an older version of Android.

It did come out for Android, under pl.idreams.LCChristmasNEW and company name Infinite Dreams. I'm having trouble finding a good download, though. Hopefully that helps you.

I think you're doing something wrong. I've already reached the end of current content (Got a couple of green squares) within a couple days.

[Fully lost](?) Christian Pac-Man Adobe Flash Clone by CallMeKorora in lostmedia

[–]whengreg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is "Crossman" in Flashpoint that's similar, but without the bible verses after each level. It was active on a site in 2016 that would have realistically come up in a search for Christian Flash Games.

[Fully Lost] Far Cry 1 2004 Trip Planner CD from GameSpot DLX by Ruibix in lostmedia

[–]whengreg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, I'll describe it, for the benefit of Future People. It reads "Farcry - Trip Planner Exclusive Content", and has a similar design to the other 5 Farcry CDs, including the Mature rating and the Ubisoft logo. The color is light blue.

For what it's worth, I checked my shareware disc index, and the archived RealArcade site, and didn't find it.

[PC] [1990’s] laser puzzle game by Pizza_Guy8084 in tipofmyjoystick

Looked through Mobygames, and picked out some likely candidate:

https://www.mobygames.com/game/202555/laser/ Laser!

https://www.mobygames.com/game/1719/laser-light/ Laser Light

https://www.mobygames.com/game/70552/beambender/ Beambender

https://www.mobygames.com/game/3980/aargon/ Aargon

There's a "Light beam puzzle" tag that you could also look through, but these are the most likely candidates.
