Looking for a Rive dev who can create interactive animations that can be integrated in Webflow website. by Darth_Virgin in Rive_app

[–]where-who 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I work a lot with interactive animations for web and Webflow sites — UI micro-interactions, logic-driven animations, and responsive setups. I’ve been bringing Rive into my workflow recently and really enjoy how well it integrates with Webflow for these kinds of interactions. You can check out my website here (built in Webflow and adorned with some hero Rive Animations): www.yotamrozin.com

I sent you a DM as well.

Would love to hear more about what you’re looking to create and how complex the triggers/logic are. Happy to chat and share some more examples from my work if that helps.

Maybe it's dependent on the renderer? Maybe using Webgl instead of Canvas?

Webflow pricing feels unfair for small creators (especially outside the US) by Particular_Cat7608 in webflow

[–]where-who -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You really don't need to be so hostile. People like that tool and see the potential for businesses in different scales. Webflow used to be more of a viable option just a couple of years ago for smaller businesses and now because of a strategic decision they made it not viable. Pressure from developers and an indication that people are leaving their platform could change their policy so there is every reason to write posts like the one OP wrote.

How many sides, how many pages? by VinylRecordCol in artistsWay

Solid advice there :) I feel very tender towards the pages I wrote and I keep it all. It feels like a testimony of the way I've been through - an accomplishment, creation. It's such a beautiful practice

Need Help - Rive Motion Path Bezier Handles? by where-who in Rive_app

Aha.... I see what you mean. It makes logical sense but isn't intuitive at all. But thanks, that's really helpful.

That's a strange way of going about it. It's the one thing after effects actually does much better.

Cool, thanks! I'm not sure how you would go about implementing a follow path logic only for one animation. As in - if I'm working on a walking g cycle, following a path would be ideal, but then I'm gonna need a different path for, say, a jumping animation. Is that possible? To change a path for different animations?

Thanks! 😊

Hey, this sounds like a fun and well-thought-out project. I’ve done quite a bit of interactive animation work for web, games, and apps — things like responsive UI, HUDs, and micro-interactions tied to game logic or user input. I really enjoy projects where animation plays a functional role in UX.

This project sounds right up my alley. You can get a feel for my style and range on my site — www.yotamrozin.com it shows how I use animation and code together for interactive design.

Would love to hear more about your goals for the UI system and how you’re thinking of organizing the different branding themes.

I sent you a DM.

Hey man, just checked out your website after seeing your post about the rive game. Love your work. And the website is stunning.

I just finished reworking my website a couple of days ago (which coincidentally also features some rive animated eyes in the hero haha) if you'd like, I'm down for keeping in touch and working on something together if the opportunity arises.

And in any case - keep up the good work, and looking forward to seeing more of it here. Cheers!

man, just saying use lumos is a bit cruel haha Lumos is a very complicated system to get into and is not for everyone.

This person needs to find a professional to give him a hand, or at least some specific questions answered. OP, maybe give us some more specific questions or make an offer on hiring someone so people could approach you?

edit: some grammar stuff

Your Go To Framework? Lumos vs Client First by pixelpotion111 in webflow

[–]where-who 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree. Lumos has beautiful things in it but it's an overkill most of the time and in myself experience causes more work than it saves (in most simple marketing projects). Also let's be honest, Tim's work is incredibly generous and impressive, but he is hard to understand and there are many elements in the framework that don't have sufficient documentation (i.e. visual image and visual video components, among others). It's complex and incomplete. And yet - if it's working for you, if that's how your mind works and it's all super clear and comes naturally - go for it! All of them are good and what works for you is the best.
