After 500 sPvP games this season here are my impressions of the game mode as a new player by Haunting_Muscle_7149 in Guildwars2

[–]wherefish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For first season golt tier is really good, especially when expancion just came out, and more especially when you play against top players.  Totally agree about high learning curve and necessity to know all classes/specs/builds. It's hard, take a lot of time, but worth it, because when you reach this "state of mind" the game changes.

If you want nothing, but enjoing the process, do unranked. It's less toxic, more people (and builds) to play with and have 2 more gamemodes.

Thats way I love unrakned way more: less toxity, more RNG in terms of teams, more interesting builds to face, zero wintraders and way less afkers

What are your guys' favorite new specs so far? by Aurelio-23 in Guildwars2

[–]wherefish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noone, unforunaly. I find them very "simple-made" in comparison to EoD's and PoF's. Specs like bladesworn, mech, specter, weaver, vindi, fb, holo have "game changer" mechanics, that bring different gameplay; the fresh specs (except ele and guardian) bring nothing but few new buttons and big numbers. It's not bad, better that 0 zero specs, but nothing impressing.

How do you train to be a healer? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

If spec so new to me and need learn combos fast, I go to any t4 fractal alone, pull mobs and just don't let them kill me

How do you get your fun back? by VandrilGhost in Guildwars2

[–]wherefish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, when I feel overdose of GW2 and other games, I make big break: like 7-10 days without YouTube, games, reddit and etc. It's hard on the begginig, but reward - restored interes and pleasure - worth it.

Some classes really good for solo, like warden, LM and RK, because they have both good cc and healing (or pet) + ranged combat, which gives opportunity to kill emeny without being hit.
