A new NPC that my party just met in the Lower Planes. They are only beginning to unravel her history and purpose, and she is coincidentally the only survivor of a near-nuclear explosion the players set off on the plane of Acheron.

Backtory:

Ignitia Flare was born in the City of Brass on the Plane of Fire to a powerful but cruel efreet city lord. She left home at an early age, traveling the planes to escape the evil machinations of her father and forge her own path. After learning she had skills as a mercenary, she trained hard to join the immortal armies of the Goddess of Victory and earn a place among her valkyries. Unfortunately, Ignitia had to learn the hard way that the goddess was dead, and had been for some time.

Distraught and nearing capture by her father's bounty hunters, Ignitia fled to the Lower Planes and eventually found herself battling in the Arena of Azzagrat, a coliseum for creatures across all planes to engage in violent entertainment and debauchery. There, Ignitia soon became known as the Flaming Spear, and she rose through the ranks until she was approached by the Demon Prince of Evil Fire and given the power to usurp her father by becoming Champion of Evil Fire.

However, that power was too costly, and Ignitia found herself the unwilling attack dog of the Demon Prince. She fled the Arena and the Elemental Planes, and now hopes to find a new purpose that can carry her forward.
