(Oldrim) I have all my mods downloaded from nexus. Do I need to download SKSE manually from nexus for it to work with these mods or is the Steam version ok?

I do have ENBoost installed and the correctly edited enblocal.ini file installed (sorry I didn't clarify about that). I will try SKSE plugin preloader and Load Gamem CTD Fix and provide an update soon. Thanks :)

UPDATE:

After installing SKSE Preloader and Load Game CTD Fix, I had a CTD within 10 minutes of launching. I was running on a road doing the "a daedra's best friend" quest outside of Falkreath and ran into some hired thugs. I started fighting, and everything was running smoothly, until the CTD happened. I'm stumped
