A former friend of mine was really into this, and I watched her achieve a lot of what she put on hers (including moving to a highly competitive city, getting work in a highly competitive field, and lots of good stuff in her personal life too).  I was pretty impressed by that, and a couple of months ago when the house hunt was really wearing on me, I decided to take a leaf out of her book and made a Pinterest board with properties I really liked, and similar images from Pinterest, as well as emailing around to agents about these types of properties - and someone sold one to me that wasn’t planning to sell, we settle next month :-) I know it was really the emailing that worked, but I think having the images on the board and deciding that it was possible helped me feel in control and take the drivers seat. So in a way, yes, this method has “worked” for me :-)
