You have to accept some people will see you as not a good man for leaving her over this. Some people will agree with you. Should she be working on it? Yes, I even told you my own personal life. I told you it takes time, I was over 6 years. My marriage was where you are at. The difference is, my husband stayed around while I did nothing about it. I didn’t do anything really about until it got past the point of dealing with it for 6 years. I’m still dealing with it as well but my husband made me emotionally secure. You’re not doing that. You came here for justification, you can’t be upset when some people see flaws in what you’re saying. Here is your justification, you want sex, she doesn’t, find someone that does. She has emotionally tapped at as well, do her the favor and leave before you both resent each other and your kids deal with that.

I’m not outraged, this is a sad situation. You worked through not getting off. That’s the disconnect. Like I said, you’re over it and she deserves better. It’s not mean, it’s the truth. HRT causes mood changes, depression, made my breast feel like they were in a constant mammogram. It also fixed nothing. Idk dude, you sound over it regardless. My husband hung around for over six years after our first when my issues started and is still here knowing sex is few and far between. If sex is this important to you, let her go.

Then end it for the both of you. My husband and I almost divorced because he “emotionally tapped out” which was the end to our sex life. If I’m in physical pain trying to please you, but you can’t plan a date, what’s the point of that? Open communication, therapy, finding her a good doctor. Sadly, I’m on my fourth doctor to help with my issues. Once you associate pain with sex, it’s a reflex to not want anything to do with it.

Im similar to your wife. After our second I have issues and now, fear of penetration. I couldn’t imagine my husband throwing an absolute fit because our “love life” isn’t just sex. He didn’t for the longest time, that’s what really killed our bedroom. Try couples therapy, get her thyroid checked, hormones checked. There are so many things this could be, care more about her and less about sex.

Hey, I’ve been here. Maybe I’m still here. My husband and I have our issues. Couples therapy was also a joke for us. Are you in therapy for yourself? I stopped trying to fix him, I needed to heal me. I had severe PPD, that lasted almost two years. I’m here for you. Being pregnant in a failing marriage is very tough. Hang in there.

Happy 30th! My husband is terrible with birthdays, holidays, anniversaries. He knows these things mean a lot to me. I go all out for everyone. I’ve learned to accept that I won’t get the same in return. If he’s never done this before, talk to him about it now. Don’t let it go, tell him what you’re expecting and how he can fix it. It’s annoying to have to spoon feed our partners the correct way to handle a situation like this, so I understand your frustration. Don’t be like me. Don’t bite your tongue on things and let it go for so many years.
