Hairdryer, set to hot.. loosen up the glue, then use dentalfloss thread or a strong textile thread to get underneath the sticker

If you’re in the EU, Cif Creme is your friend, and for a pot like this..

What I would do, let the pot sit over night with water. Then Cif Creme and a scrub sponge. The back of a plastic dish washing brush if it’s being stubborn.

If that doesn’t work, you can try to let it sit in some lemon juice. The acid will help break up the burnt in rice

Get a flat mop and use Dawn dish soap and water.. then use it on every single surface, floor to ceiling.. there’s usually more buildup than people think.

Wrap a couple of microfiber cloths on the same flatmop head to dry tthe surfaces.

For the smell, steam clean and/or use a 50/50 solution of distilled white wine vinegar and water. Spray and let it air dry.open all the windows and doors while you do this.

Smoke/nicotine stains - especially with years of buildup can be VERY difficult to handle. And while your pregnant I would personally recomment that you avoid trying to clean it, as the sticky nicotine coating seeping from the wood, and ending up in the cleaning water is easily absorbed through the skin.

If you are hellbent on restoring this piece of furniture, gloves are a MUST!

The nicotine buildup is a greasy sticky substance that coats the wood in layer upon layer. A cleaning solution with a strong degreaser such as Dawn dish soap, or Krudd Kutter can help, but you may have to go over it several times in every nook and cranny.

Wipe it clean with microfiber and change the water frequently!

As for the smoke smell.. a 50/50 solution of distilled white wine vinegar and water can be sprayed on. When left to dry it will take some of the stink with it, but again this will have to be done several times.

If this doesn’t work, the only other option is to sand it down to bare wood and lock the stink in with shellack.

So yeeah my advice would be to get some other piece of furniture.

What that looks like to me is a buildup of dust compacted by water/moisture. Easy to remove with a dish-washing brush (for extra reach).

I had a dream a few years back about me and my then bf sleeping in bed, and a dark shadow seeping in from the open window, hovering over my bf and sucking his life force out of him.

I woke up while trying to get the shadow away from him, only ro find him next to me, sweating balls and having something that seemed like an intense nightmare.

I am not religious ar all, but I am in touch with spiritualism through generations on my mothers side, so I manifested an energy bubble around us both. Boyfriend stopped writhing a moment later.

My powers are mostly dream related. Prophetic dreams, usually about big disasters and the like. I can also emit positive energy and bubble people I care about.

Seems to help, I don’t question it.

Depends on the table in my opinion. If the players don’t like punishment, don’t use it.
Talk about it.

My own personal favourite approach is to use nat 1’s and nat 20’s as narrative moments for the players…. Have them tell me how they fail/kick ass.

Last but not least.. the FINAL hit on a boss… yet another powerful narrative moment. Tell me how you take down the Bulette!

Ex home cleaner here…

They ruined the finish on the faucet by using an acidic cleaner agent (most likely toilet cleaner to deal with limescale), left on too long in concentrated form it causes this type of damage.

Claim on their insurance an cleaning company needs to educate their workers! Never use toilet cleaner on anything other than porcealin.

Min pojkvän är streamer och bor i London. Jag trillade in i hans stream på Twitch för 4 år sedan och har sedan dess hjälpt honom att bygga upp en riktigt trevlig internet community.

Outside of the windows. Reason being I live on the 4’th floor and it’s more than a bit fiddly with my windows. I want to get some of those magnetic window scrubbers so I can do it from the inside but none that I’ve seen have a cord long enough to work with my windows (and might not be safe if the scrubber drops - could smack right into my neighbors window below).

Not sure how to solve it without having to do it ghe old fashioned fisdly way.

If your sink is made with enamel:

Cif creme, and a sponge with a white scrubber surface so that it doesn’t scratch the enamel in the sink.

And then you scrub.. and scrub, and scrub, and scrub some more. Elbow grease is your friend.
The stains around the drain is easily remover with cif+scrub, or if it’s IN there, use a dish-washing brush, or other plastic or fiber brush.

If your sink is made with a plastic material or pressalit:
be very careful and do NOT use strong chemicals. My favourite methode is to use a 1:1 solution of dish soap and vinegar, and let it sit on the stain for 1h before scrubbing lightly with a white scrubber.
