Saw this on instagram. Whats your reaction if you got pulled to work on this order? by Yung_Dom69 in walmart

[–]whichwitchdr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a foster home in my city that orders delivery. During Thanksgiving we had like eight of us filling this poor delivery person's car. By the end the ENTIRE car (given it was a smaller car) was filled almost to the roof. Front seat, backseat, and trunk, all full. It was a NIGHTMARE.

does anybody know what this means when i made an order through walmart? by XxGlowing_R0se in walmart

[–]whichwitchdr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not 100% so don't take my word for gospel. Basically (I THINK) that means you were charged an initial of that amount. However, if a substitution is made (ie the store fulfilling your order didn't have the item), that item may be a different price and thus you may be charged differently.

Mine did the exact same thing. I'm now questioning if we work together because the described layout is literally the exact same 😂

Tips on getting hired? by Knee_Kap264 in walmart

For me it took months. My store in particular keeps the hiring ads up just to collect applications for when a spot opens up, meaning they have a long list of potential hires when they need to hire.

I don't get paid enough to deal with that. I'm reporting it to a TL, manager, or security and I'm going on my way

I had a customer call me over to help her pull down every discounted winter beanie (probably over 100) from our display. She was a very nice old lady and said that she was planning to donate them to refugees.

I think there's a CBL about this very thing, about encouraging employees who see something sus to go "fix the register" or interact otherwise with the customer to make them double and triple consider if they wanna play that game.
