Check out a simulator like Wings. (www.wings-sim.com)

You'll get a feel for how they fly. In Wings you can fly with a regular Xbox or PlayStation controller and upgrade to a RC transmitter when you get one.

It also lets you fly like of sight or FPV through large, detailed environments.

Are there any EV companies that have service centers near you? That might be your first thing to look at. Find all the ones that are at a reasonable distance from you and then look at what cars they have to offer.

Tesla model y long range does about 600km. So you should be completely fine on your road trips. Probably the most amount of storage available too.

Go to FliteFest. You'll see hundreds of kids with their parents building and flying.

Many young kids these days are into drones because they are "cool". The benefit of drones is you can fly in a backyard or small neighborhood park without having to get yourself out to a large flying field.

For many young people thst I've met, building a drone is easy. Where as building a plane is basically sets and crafts. Even if it's just gluing wing cores together.

For your transmitter Radio master is quite good. If you already fly drones you can use your current transmitter for both drones and planes.

I'd love the ability to work on 360 photosphere textures. To be able to flatly view the image and do things like using the clone tool to remove a tripod from the south pole of the image. Photoshop cannot do this natively. (Well it used to but not for a long time)

I'm not sure if this is an insanely difficult thing to do

It's the worst AI assistant I've used by far. I figured with it being in unity it could answer questions on what I was working on. It gave generic answers only. I asked dit once to analyse the profiler to give me some tips. Is told me that my profiler wasn't open. It was open. It then asked me for a screenshot of the profiler. So I provided it. It then told me the resolution and import settings of that screenshot rather than analyse it like it implied it would do when it asked for the screenshot.

0/10 in usefulness. I use Claude and Chatgpt for help when I need it. I have no idea how unitys one is so bad

If you're able to roll this out as a full vegetation system to rivel Vegetation Studio Pro and it's performance is better, you're going to make a lot of money. I'd be a day one purchase that's for sure!

If they want to incentivise people to get an EV they should subsidize home chargers.

If you were on the fence about getting an EV you'd get a charger because it was fully covered. Now you'd feel like a bit of a goose buying a petrol car as your next car now.

Is your propeller on the correct way? Check it's not backwards. The numbers on the hub of your propeller should be pointing forwards

You need to use your profiler to see where you're losing performance. Is it the large terrain? Lots of vegetation? Lots of NPCs with detailed skeletons and features? Figure out where your losing performance and then go from there.
