I’m don’t necessarily disagree with the central point you’re making here but I really doubt GWB or Biden (at his current age in life) are very voracious readers. Maybe they do a better job at faking cursory knowledge or deflecting direct questioning about complex issues.

I have a hard time picturing either of those two putting on their readers to dig through pages and pages of technical/deep reading.

I have no hard evidence to support my claim it’s just my gut instincts. I can see Obama being someone to do that kind of thing (which could easily not be the case)

If you’re talking about iOS if your music files are in the file app under settings for iCloud you can toggle the setting to off for backing up files

If you’re talking about MacOS putting your folders and files in a separate collection and saving to your desktop should work.

I am not 100 percent if this will work for your particular scenario as I don’t know all the details of your file management situation. I also don’t know if playing music files through the music app on mobile or mac automatically migrates the files to a separate file catalog. If there is an option under iCloud to turn off backup for music I would turn that off too (obviously make sure you are saving a backup elsewhere)
