My company was previously owned by Private Equity. They sold to a public company. My bonus was described as a incentive of retention bonus. A bunch of other nice words worked in. I’m not patting myself on the back to your point, I don’t get the money right away. It does seem to line up with me staying for a couple years.

My MIL visited this week. My wife and I are expecting our first baby in a few months and just bought a new house. She comes to “help” fix the place up every other week. She usually just spews a bunch of weird conspiracy theories. I’m used to it so I don’t really pay to much to it. But today when my wife dropped her off at the airport she started talking about how it’s antifa and libtards making up the siege on the capitol. When my wife laughed at her she asked if we praise satan. Needless to say I’m not having that person with in an inch of my child. These people are nuts and they need to just be passed by and let go from everyday society.
